Sup Mr Jones! Thank you very much for the response. Lately I have been supercropping them laying them flat so I get lots of vertical side branching when the main stalk is laid down flat, creating a FIM without sacrificing the top cola on the Chronic!

I am going to let them over grow each other and trim the bottom 1/3.

Hopefully I can get huge flippin yields

29 Chronics under 1800w. Any idea on a yield?

So, do these ladies look ready for the flip?

I still have 29 in there so im considering throwing out my worst one and doing my 4 rows of 7.

Its really difficult to get a picture of the entire room so I took a picture of both halves. The black fan is DEAD center, to give you a good idea.

Last picture shows you the holes that should still be filled in, in my opinion.

EDIT: Its also 4 feet wide, but I am running 600w's which only cover about 3 feet properly, also vegging with 400ws (400x3) flowering with 600s. Thats why they are not near the walls. Can a 600w go 4 feet wide without producing weak buds?

you're looking good. 4 rows of 7 should work very nicely in your space. and the 600 w will be fine in there. you wouldnt want any other configuration with the lights. reflective walls and keeping the lamp cool and close will increase yeild. Also, hopefully you're reflector cast 'some' light out to the sides... some have a very narrow sweet spot others a little larger. for yield i'm expecting to see 2.25 #'s. Chronic is heavy but meant for SOG imho (i have SOG and supercropped). Plus this is mostly a soil grow. Just make sure you dont get lazy with the watering / feedings. In 2 gals under 1800 w they will need it a lot. looking mighty fine tho.

grow on. o, unless you have something lined up directly behind this one i would let that canopy fill in fairly think, then remove the small stuff. that exta week veg can make a lot of difference.

all just my opinion though. i'll be watching this one.

here is a pic of a chronic that i scrogged... still got a nice large main bud, and a lot of dense side stuff so your in good shape. my untrained buds were bigger but not as much nice side stuff.

Wow thank you very much for stopping by! I was just Pm'ing a fellow ICmagger who has tons of experience but none with this strain!

I am going to water tomorrow night with some PRE-bloom, and give them an extra day or two to soak it in. Then I will make the all mighty flip.

My idea WAS to SOG with the 29 that I had BUT they needed to get bigger then I expected.

I ran 12 my first run under 2x600w but had to veg them rather large!!

Anyways, I really appreciate your opinions as they are helpful. Do these girls like a good amount of food? I think I am going to run Bontanicare CSN17 Coco&Soil as a base nutrient, and buy additives later.

How was the smoke?? Hopefully good cuz I hope to end up with a lot of it!

chronic isn't a light feeder, but that doesn't mean you have to juice them

Hey Rooted! I hope to get around 2.5+ but anything over 2 I would be stoked with!!

I got 1.75 under 1200w running OG kush, so I'm hoping the extra 600w and high yielding strain will get me considerably more then my last run...but only time will tell!!

you are looking pretty good! i guess 2lbs should be very easy to do - i would have guess if you take nice care of them you should even go up to 3lbs!
they look about to be perfect to be flipped and since im a chronic fan myself im gonna pull up a chair i guess.

sorry i couldn't help but i stop in and it looks like some good people ahve gave u some advice i would tend to agree with another week flip them,,,hell even throw a net in there if you want to control the heigth,, not reeally a scrog but just keping canopy even,,,well good luck i got this tagged i will be seeing what goes on,,,peace and good luck

Ok, everyone talked me into it! Vegging another week!

Tonight im gonna fill up 10 gallons of RO and give them a nice "PRE-bloom" foromula that comes in "the yellow bottle".

Then I will turn it over for 30 hours of darkness. Hopefully when the lights come back on ill have white hairs spittin everywhere!

I would like to build a net just so I dont have to worry about the buds falling all over the place, it beats staking each one up individually. Maybe make 1 sq ft squares throughout the entire room.

honestly dude i quit doing the whole total darkness thing hell i start them with 12 hours of darkness,,just throw them right under the big lights and when the lights go off they get the 12 hours and thats it,,,i did the 36 hour thing twice and will never do it again the girls stretched way more thn i wanted and it really messed my canopy and the stem strength up,,,i am no expert and maybe others have good luck witht his but i just don't,,,or haven't for that matter,,,maybe others will chime in witht htier experience,,,i would veg another week and then flip and forget,,,just my 2 cents,,,peace bro good luck with whatever u decide

Ok well I installed the 3x600w HPS.

Room is filling is nicely. I am still debating on which one to ditch or if im going to do so. i figure one extra plant put aside in the corner isnt going to reduce my yield, only increase it.

We'll see. I just like being organized and 7x4 is much nicer then 7x4+1 lol.

Canopy doesnt look as filled out now that they're spread out more evenly.

Going to leave them as is until next watering and see how they fill in.

I think the BLOOM nutes I used are old. They were chunky in the liquid :X Wouldnt mix up completely either.

I might rinse them out tomorrow with the extra 5 gallons of water I have laying around, and start with some fresh bloom nutes.
