i know something little about shiva.. on this shitty pic is 5g of shiva skunk, it's actually full of cristal and very smelly fat buds. hard to carry it around because it stinks..
i'm sick of this stuff and rather smoke less potent outdoors, because shiva is always/only commercialy availible dank and sometimes i smoke only shiva for months... so no shiva please.
then i guess it's great commercial/proved stuff. and i know it's strong. it gives different feelings, sometimes unpleasant, and from my view is too strong for early day smoking.. i do it, but because there's no other dank.. too many shiva joints can ruin the day.. and it hits everytime, even after months of daily use and abuse..
well the main phenotype that you will get in 2009 from sensi seeds is a very frosted and fruity leaning toward a pineaple and id dare to say kinda caramel in the background smell , this was the pheno used by the grimms bros when they did c99 .i think sensi put emphasis on this phenotype since the pedigree of the c-99 is know by the public cindy is jack herer special pheno x sensi shiva skunk then backrossed until stability
the taste is fruity with a nice hash aftertaste . very productive plant . at maturity the pistils turn bright orange on some pheno and are very impressive over the thc canopy .
nice couch-lock and very medicinal value for pain . this one will put you to sleep like a baby .
overall a great experience but watch for mold on a few pheno , probably the skunk side .
only problem , sensi boosted their price to the point that you can have identical strain with the same attributes for 1/4 of the price .
hey benji......... were are you located...... ne were in the uk?...... im organising a crop circle so we can all get a slice of that sweet pie... thats if your on the paper chase lke i
I grew Shiva Skunk for a while. It was a good producer under 400W, gave me some big fat sticky colas. It had a kind of a rotten grapefruit smell to it when flowering, and a strong citrus smell when cured.
It was plenty potent for me, especially when I kifed it or used it for ISO hash...but I was drunk all the time then too, so some of the fine points escaped me.

I have grown a pre 95 Sensi Shiva Skunk, she is much different than the Shiva Skunk of today, her growth is very indica with little strech, her bud structure was dominated by the Skunk. As far as smell and flavor go id describe it as very skunky with a piney undertones and subtle hints of berry. Def a great strain, been grown in my area for 15+ years by a very small number of people.
The Sensi product tried last year had no dominant sativa characteristics and finished just the right height for a 400W grow. Long, dense, crystalline colas of good potency that weren't skunky at all, closer to grape/floral/???. Low odor, really. Those could be seen as being an option for a commercial grow but for the mild aromachemical character, still decent grams per watt per day. They put on a lot of weight pretty quick. Have a lot of seeds from a union, will get around to investigating those.
i had the NL X shiva offered by nirvana about 8 years ago-top 10 easily in my book and i've spent thousands searching for the grail-i think she was a very close contender-great yields-meditative introspective high-i got energy from it too-not the couch lock
go for it
look for the dark leaved indica/nl looking one-easy to clone, low odor, fantastic yields and nice looking buds with a golden tint from the resin heads-my phenos buds when cured wern't oily at all like the diesels and such-they were more delicate/brittle and the buzz was a wonderful balanced buzz that didn't couch lock at all-all my friends wanted the "dealers" number! hey-at least i shared what i had
strangely enough-the pakistani gardah i was also smoking at the time was eerily simiilar-i do suspect that there really are some himalayan/kush genes in there but who knows?
good luck
