My masterkush is about 10 days from sprouting and I have only about 2 months and one week to finish the cycle. Should I wait one more week before switching to 12/12 or do it now? The main priority is quality over quantity.
If you wanna finish that in 2 months you better start flowering now, you should have just gone 12/12 from seed. if you switch now it should take around 11 weeks to finish up depending on strain.
quality will be there as long as you care for it correctly and the genetics can deliver.
indeed. it'll take close to 2 weeks for the plant to start to flower, then the buds should mature in 8 - 11 weeks. you'll need a magnifying to look at the trichomes to determine when it'll be ready. I just wait til the trich's look glazed.
i like to get mine over the seedling stretch(10 days should be enough), then transplant into the main container let it veg a day or 2 so the roots can grow to the new soil a littlebit then put them in 12/12
there can be a difference in the time it takes to start flowering, depending on the age of the plant.
eg, a 1 week old plant may take 3weeks to show sex, a 4week old plant may take 14days, a mature clone may take 10days e.t.c
the flowering period of 8weeks or whatever should be the same for all.
make sure your plant has PLENTY of root space and yeild will be good.
Yeap I do have other plants, which are far more mature plus this one is a fem. The problem is I'm a noob so I'm running into all sorts of troubles. I'll start a grow diary next week and you're more then welcome to chime in
