keeping the girls up

Hi DP,
Many growers use tomato cages. Round reverse cone shape with spikes that go into the ground. One for each pot.

Another option is to suspend a large net above the grow. Like a scrog net only larger squares.

Why are such small plants so floppy? Giant buds?

Tomator cages are great, but i cant be seen bringing something like that inside my house, ya know? What i have used in the past:
yard sticks (goto the county fair and STOCK UP!)
broken fishing rod
duct-taped a length of scrap 1/2 PVC to outside of a pot .. yea, she needed help _now_
and, the most expensive, wooden dow rods from wally's.

Now that i am running aero i don't really use anything, except neighboring plants for support. Hope this helps!

Any local nursery will have 2-4ft. 1/8"~ bamboo sticks... They stick perfectly into any medium and there is nothing shady about that :p

DP,
Another thought is using strings (or light bonzai wire) to suspend the plants from the ceiling. It works pretty good but does need adjustment as plant height changes.

You're very welcome Dr Paulson...
And if I may present an idea that i've only read about and not tested...

Floppy stems can actually be a nutritional issue and so by correcting those issues, then no extra support is needed. As I recall, it's excess N during flowering that can cause floppy stems. Sorry...I can't recall my source.
