see the electronic ballast mounted on the wall? All the wiring you see is just the socket assembly cord, coming from above since he has a ton of head room. Besides that looks like propane burner power + propane supply line, and some strings to support plants with. Looks sweet to me, and like he did the best he could with what he had to mount to. Nice pics man thanks for sharing, herb looks killer.

I'm a real novice grower, so don't take this the wrong way, but in my opinion wouldn't it be 'more efficient' to get horizontal mounts with hoods? (Obviously when you can come up with the cash) that way you can have the lights even closer. and you'd be able to use the chain to your advantage hiding all the wires.

What kind of figures do you pull out of your awesome setup?

also curious how your A/C handles the heat. with 4200w in bare bulbs + a CO2 genny, that not much cooling power. However, i've never run sealed before so i'm not experienced there.

microgram: vertical setups, if done right, will usually be more efficient than horizontal lights with hoods. more direct light, less lost to reflection, light source can often be closer to plants, heat rises up, etc.

FLat gardens are more inefficient actually. Typo on the ac its a 24kbtu...Foliage can be 6in from bare bulbs...Whens last time u got 6in to a hooded bulb lol? Think they were vegged around 25-30 days. Nothin to fear cashmunny...actually alot safer to be honest...cord is only secondary safety for sockets...that wire can support 10x the weight ez. 100% sealed room nvr gets past 84f. I was up so I answered a few general questions for shoes...He can finish up for ya...

Thanks trend. Yes, I like my vertical grow and have none of the heat issues I had with a horizontal reflector slash heat trap.

This was my first grow it my Vert room... I have learn a lot About growing with Naked bulbs..

Temps were never over 83.. I got the temps down to 64 the last two weeks of harvest shit stunk so bad.. I was getting panic attacks had to chop at 58 days..

First Grow under verts.. I got 8 1/2 lb off of 4200 watts.. I will be safe.. I am a Medi grower.. I grow with hood too..
Blueberry 30 days 5 G watts..

I guess I month I really don't keep track well... I have really bad ADD.. They veg for awhile in 4 inch rockwool.. I then veg in my bloom room..

The room is kind of half ass its not seal and I don't vent out the Co2.. Never had a problem with heat... The lights were a lot lower.. The buds kept falling into the lights.. The pics were taken in the last two weeks.. So I move the bulbs up to help ripen the crop... The strain is AK 47 pre 92 cut.. I used 24 ebb n grow bucket system(two 12 bucket systems), with Hydroton.. And GH nutes. I have found out that Rockwool in the bucket smoke Hydroton.. I also learned that I had too many plants... I should Grow a lankyer strain for this setup.. I now have like 18 sour d's in the same room..

Trend told me about this guy named krusty.. This was my first vert Grow.. The bulbs started lower.. I usually grow the plants over the light.. I have more pics of an up to date grow.. or I mean I have a Camera but I am at the wrong house rite now..

Hey thanks man.. I been grow for 9 years.. I think the room is very important.. Water is also important.. Rich neighborhoods got good water.. I growen in shitty Neighborhoods and the water always sucks..
