I really like what you have going on here. Very nice cross...it is a good, common sense pairing. I mean...landrace IBL, with one of the most proclaimed sativa/haze hybrids to date.

Gotta say, I like it. Should be very easy to find what effects each one had on the other as far as breeding goes...and I can imagine the F1 hybrid vigor in these is outstanding. Not to mention, the jewels that would be found in a F2 generation of this line would be truly interesting and probably nothing short of outstanding.

Did you find a bit of consistency or was their a lot of wild variation? And how many did you plant until you found the jewel we see here?

the cross was made by cloneman a long time back

there was only a few persons who got these seeds in the first place. out of that only 3 persons found keepers. i mean real keepers for life.

we have worked extensivelly with our keeper mom, and there is NO male of this cross at all,

first we tried with ssh/ptk x ptk, that honestly got a bunch of nice phenos, and currently a mate is growing her every year in BC outdoors. the PTK part makes the plants early and sturdy. we have done f2's

also worth noticing is i have other crosses made by cloneman using same SSH mom, but a lovepotion dad, a male of this was used to dust the lady above. these seeds are currently getting tested. and compared to the ssh/ptk x ptk, the ssh/ptk x ssh/lp seems to be a sure bet. and will get used both males and females for working them into the ssh/ptk

although we still have to grow out those other crosses to see how they are

we made a whole lot of crosses using the ssh/ptk/ptk males, with females of;
Sweet and sour diesel
SSHxPTK
SSH/PTK x PTK
amnesia haze
jaggen

so much seeds so little time.. but thats an other thread all together.

the keeper i picked from 48 plants of same cross. but really all other seeds planted by other test growers should be taken in count, and i honestly dont know. im sure there was several hundred (200+ atleast) sent out, but i doubt all of them got planted. i still keep 2 of the original, wich we are going to plant now. should ad i HAD NO males what so ever of this cross.

should ad visually there was not that much variation in the f1's at all. id say about 3-4 phenos in general, with variations of heigth of same looking plants. only a few were looking like PTK and they were not considered for keepers since at the time this baby just out yielded anything i had. still i dare believe some of the small chunky PTK like phenos might have been more potent knock-out smoke.

but this one got the best of two worlds. the ptk part in the high keeps you down and chilled - sometimes even too heavy to do anything, while the SSH part messes up the head nicelly. well for me atleast. most non-daily smokers get a bit overwhelmed by it.

smell
- sour smell with a spicy touch. there is some trace of overmature fruit.

- bud from tip of branch

thoughts about pheno:
- the SSH pheno. pointy SSh looking tips. the calyx are spread out in a sativalike fashion. expanding. very good yilder. the next biggest of the SSH phenos i had. a good combo of yield, flowering time and potency.

taste lit
- skunky and spicy. very good taste. a litle bit of acidic fresh citric touches with sweet peary aftertaste.

high
- instant bliss. even after a whole day of smoking this gets me going even higher. one of my favourites.

hehe the spider mite web is the least thing i worry about when smoking its gone by the time it reaches my bong.....
its so easy to get rid of with a vacuum cleaner...
