I picked up some Femed Jorge's Diamonds seed, a while back from a close friend. I didnt expect much from these seeds, but I used them for a few of my mother plants this last season. This strain is the most impressive strain from the lot, and the latest plots are already heavy with 1+ lbs/per plant. I learned from Julian to always estimate low, so u are never disappointed, and it makes for even more excitement when the final weight far exceeds your guesstimate! I started counting the massive arms for branches and I figured each branch has gotta have atleast 1 oz. The plants are 9-10 ft tall, with anywhere from 18-25 branches + Their tops, so I figure 16 -27 Oz, per plant. I am def going to be growing this strain again next season. If its alright with Julian, I will take some shots of these girls and post them in the next week or so. Also willing to throw up some shots of some of the other ladies, finishing up.
I found 3 phenotypes, in the JD's one grew quite large but leans more toward a sativa, with a lot of leaves flowing upward through the flowers, (vigourous, very sticky, and grew large flowers). Another pheno was approx. 70% Indi X 30% Sat, but the plants never grew tall, and the buds were average sized, (not a lot of vigour compared to the other two phenos), the last cut and my fav, was extremely vigourous, 90% Indica, grew very tall, will def harvest 1+lbs/per plant. possibly 1 3/4 on some
. This pheno has been saved, and I will make a few mother plants from it, to take clones from next season. The buds on this plant heavily laden with trichs, and they shine exactly how a diamond would. Very large WHITE sparkles emitting from the flowers. I was in awe when I first seen these. I had been wondering why they were called Jorge's Diamond, now I know. After witnessing this diamond like sparkle from my chosen phenotype, I feel confident I found the best pheno to keep as a mother plant. I would recommend to everyone I know to grow this plant outdoors. I am more than impressed with her. Although half the battle has been won, and I still need to get the buds home, dried, and cured, I feel very confident that what damage is done, is done. And All losses from here on out will be minimal if at all. I am comfortable making that statement, and I know there is minimal chance of someone stumbling along what I have out now. One small percentage of chance is b/c of those Thieving archery hunters, that always seem to find a bit of my outdoor crop. No matter how well its hidden.
