where can i find Afberry Bluerider or afghani bullrider ?

Hey all, i was just doing a little reading outside of ICMAG believe it or not...

i was strolling through the local mall today and stopped into a borders and decided to pick me up the october issue of HIGH TIMES...

in this October issue, there was a write up by Michelle Rainey's husband "JefTek"...

anyways, the guy goes into some story about how the Afghani Bullrider strain happened to be the best medicinal cannabis strain that he had ever smoked. He went on to eventually create his own strain with the bullrider and he named it "Afberry Bluerider"

he described the strain as having a :

"pleasant blueberry aroma and flavor, coupled with that hash plant punch that always knocks the pain down a punch or two. its super easy to clone and roots fast, and its also bug and mold resistant, neem friendly , and easily the most prolifically budding plant ive ever worked with "

yes that description is great, but the greatest thing about it in my opinion is that he said it finishes in "36 DAYS!!!!!" wow to that...

anways i googled the strain, and ic-magged it as well, only to come up with nothing really... perhaps I am missing something?

i went on to read the rest of the article a little bit more in depth (as i am awfully stoned right now from some blueberry skunk) and i am pretty sure that this JEFTEK guy goes on to say that the strain is afghani bullrider crossed with sensi seeds' shiva skunk. shiva skunk is NL#5XSK#1....

with that being said... im still confused how this guy claims it is a 36 day finisher?

anyways, can someone help shed some light on this topic? or am i just stupidly stoned?

ok i found a little bit more info...

I am presently growing Strawberry
Cough, Shiva Skunk, Blueberry Hash and two different
phenotypes of Afghani Bullrider. (Phenotypes are
different varieties of a genotype) The original Afghani
Bullrider #5 was documented in CC#57 from 1 of 6
female Afghani Bullrider phenotypes grown from seed
and I’ve now added AB#16 also known as Sweet 16
or AfBerry BlueRider. This was grown from a secondary
batch of 20 seeds and I selected it for its sweet
blueberry taste, fast cloning, fast rooting and strong
easy-to-trim medicine. Where AB#5 is stouter, sturdier
and denser, the Sweet 16 is slightly taller, thinner and
lankier. They are both keepers.
Comparing the AB#5 and AB#16 medically will
be difficult because they both get the job done
quickly, burning clean and tasting smooth; it’s just the
Blueberry taste in the Sweet 16 that keeps your taste
buds coming back for more. I never get that terrible
‘dry-mouth’ that comes from traditional Hash Plant
type indicas. We’ll just call them both AB for the sake
of this article. None of these strains, with the exception
of the Blueberry Hashplant which I have lovingly
renamed ‘BASH’, are heavy harvesters unless you were
to grow them into bushes before budding, they are
however, very potent. They are so potent that they are
covered with resin glands from week 3 of budding and
so strong that just one hit can relieve the nausea from
Crohn’s, chronic back pain or chemotherapy. The high
is instantaneous and effective; some first-timers have
an almost asthma-like attack of coughing followed by
the stone of their life. I’ve smoked this almost exclusively
for 3 years now and just passed a physical last
week with flying colors, clear lungs and perfect blood
pressure.
AB is my wife’s preferred strain for treating her
Crohn’s symptoms without any prescription medication.
Williams Wonder and Hash Plant were both
phased out by the Afghani Bullrider’s potency and
flavor.

love this strainn!!!!! ive been told u have to talk to jeff tek to get the keeper affy b cuts, clone only ive heard. this bud smell sooooo sweet and candy like. almost like cherry or red berry/suger. i have a .3 of a g ive been saving for like 2 weeks. only in pow wows with heavy heads is she revealed.

The Afghani Bullrider is said to be the biker Bullrider cut from Cali crossed with an Afghani. I believe that Jeftek from Cannabis Culture mag takes credit for the cross. It can be found most commonly around the BC lower mainland area. Peace GS

well, 36 days seems too good to be true.. I know some shiva skunk phenos are extremely fast.. but the fast phenos don't have much in the buzz or smell/taste department

It sounds like an AF strain since it has the "Sur-Name" rider and supposedly finishes in 36 days. Though non of those genetics are AF.

i seen an arti awhile back saying the bullrider name comes from the guy who supplied the weed the seeds was found in...cat was a real pbr cat who smoked only the prim prim...then again there's lots of stories out....az

yeah i believe they talk about that guy....i think he was a professional bull rider who smoked the TOP...

Don`t waste too much time trying to track down the afghani/bullrider cut. Very average meds at best. 36 days flowering time is total BS unless you don`t mind pulling it a couple weeks early!!!

its very rare. heads are paying 325 for 28 g in vancouver, the highest price ive seen for anything. i was told a very fast starin called bullrider, 35-40 days, hence the name, was crossed to a very special 40 day afgahni plant. it can be cropped in 35-40 days if need be. id give at least 42-45 if i could get my hands on a baby or two. the high is so strong, but so clean for an indica. very energetic i wanna clean everything high. the next time im gifted a bag il post some pics. there is another clone going around bc called silver skunk, and it is very similar in look and stone, but smells more like sweet blue fruits, rather the the affy bsweet red fruit smell. both are some of the best ive ever tried.

yup same article i was talking about....but who knows i seen a clip from a high times talking about bubba kush an its origins lying with the fact some army cat came back from a ToD over there in the middle east an picked up some beans came back an crossed em to his favorite local strain....or the dumpster cut being a plant found next to a dumpster...gotta love a good story imo....az

shiva skunk/m-39 made it's way around here in the mid 80s and all the cash croppers up north share a lot from fast m39/shiva skunk parents. I've seen gang related growers on tv claim it was called m-39 because it finished in 39 days.. which is far from the truth, their selected clone is fast but at 39 days it's not half what it could be if let another another 2 weeks.
