I made another batch of these last night. I realy loaded em up with cranberrys this time. House smelled so good!

Yeah, it'd be a total waste. But cookies are just so good, lol.

Something easier to eat in moderation might be might be a better idea to try my hand at baking first. Maybe in some butter used to bake a fresh loaf of sourdough. Mmmm.

Mmmmm.... sourdough! Canna sourdough...... that might be pretty good. I'd rather make it with hash than budder.

Just pulled a (rum-free) batch of these out of the oven a bit ago. They are so good warm and fresh with an ice cold glass of milk. I actually enjoy that slight green/roasted nut flavor the cannabutter adds. Also tastes great in my peanut butter cookies. I find careful use of proper spices is what's needed, and usually missing from most recipies. The orange zest and cloves are the key to these cookies, IMO.

Supreme Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
-------------------------------

1/2 lb (2 sticks) budder, softened
1 Cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 Cup granulated sugar
2 Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 & 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour
1 Tsp Baking soda
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Ground Cloves
1/2 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
1 Tsp minced Orange zest (this is also available in dehydrated form, look among the other spices at the store)
1/2 Tsp Salt
3 Cups uncooked oats
1 Cup Raisins (soak in Rum overnight for extra oomph, but drain well if you do)

Heat oven to 350 F. Cream together budder and sugars til smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and dry spices in separate bowl. Add into wet mixture in thirds and blend well after each addition. Stir in orange zest, oats and raisins; mix well. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to a wire rack to cool.

For bar cookies, spread dough evenly into a 13x9 inch baking pan and bake for 30-35 mins, then cut to desired size.

Sounds yummy! I bet the Cloves and Orange zest do these up! I'll have to try these out.

Today I made some Canna Rice Krispie Treats. I used some hash butter I made earlier this week. I haven't tried them out yet though. I gotta get some sleap and if I eat one, on top of the canna tea I had a little bit ago, I'll be wrecked. Plus.... Im trying to stay good on my diet. This holiday season is going to be tough with all the canna candy Im planning on making.
