Amber trichromes at 33 days of flower, any ideas why?

I am currently flowering DJS Bleuberry, along with strawberry cough, and sage. According to dj, the blueberry should be 45-55 days. The sage is also showing some amber. I am flowering under 250 watt cmh, with a glass shield cooled with aircooling. My temps are currently 78 during lights on. The plants are in soil, all organic. The bud tips are about two inches from the glass, the furthest top is no more than six inches away. I have grown under cmh before, bagseed that i just watched the trichromes until they ambered. That run i waited at least seven or eight weeks before seeing any darkening. Any comments? The buds are not huge, they have some minor drying of the tips of the pistils, but absolutely still growing/adding more flowers. Oh, the crappy thing is my digital camera is broke.

any other stress on the plant? bugs? roots? loss of leaves?

Hydro, yes they are close to the glass. They stretched a bit more than I had expected after the flip. They are not getting burned, a couple of the tips got cooked two weeks ago, due to inadequate airflow across the bud tops. I have corrected that issue, no more cooking buds as of this moment. My cabinet will not allow me to lift the light without building a new box, and there is no room in there to do any training.
Wheelchair, I believe only on the tops, currently midnight in the box, I will check this evening when they wake up. The odd thing is the strawberry cough are not ambering, only the blueberry and the sage.
Bordercollie, they are very happy girls, although they are living in a Japanese apartment, lol. It is crowded in there. They are in one gallon homemade smartpots, no bugs, lower leaves are light in color due to canopy density, no light down there for the poor things. The glass is 26" from the floor, bulb is 29" to the element from the floor.
sito, yes, th s.a.g.e. I had some this summer, incredible smoke. My first time growing it, I expect it will become a permanent part of my garden. Will try to get a photo, lights out right now, maybe I can use my cell tonight. Do they put exif data on cell phone photos if I email it to myself, then upload it???

Thanks for the replies guys, my guess is it is due to the proximity to the light, but I do not understand why this happened so fast, and also mainly if I should just let them go to 45 days for the blueberry. I am not a fan of late harvests and lots of couchlock, but I was hoping for a little weight. Choices...
