Weird smell from Dieselryder

Hi,
I´ve been lurking awhile, seems like a very in teresting forum

I´ve grown DR before but always indoors and the smell has been strong but good. I just harvested my first outdoor DR and it has lot´s of resin, fairly good yield BUT after trimming my hands smell like human feces -I shit you not. No signs of mold, no bugs and the plants have been very healthy.

Anyone else experience this?

So it´s just my DR that stinks? It´s a good smoke, the stench lessens with curing. Is there a "skunk" gene in the lineage?

I have about 140 DR beans from a seed run I did a little more than a year ago. I could have harvested 5-6 crops in the time since then but I can't grow them because they STINK SO BAD! As the cab would warm during lights on and the temperature would climb to 85F, the 5 small girls reeked tremendously. They were hardy growers and good smoke just way too smelly for my current (and most likely any future) situation. It's too bad because they are really enjoyable to grow.

wow, never heard of that man. Really sorry to hear. Could stuff in the soil cause something like that?

Nice to hear that I´m not alone... Thay smelled strongly grown indoors but that isn´t an issue where I grow, the "problem" now is that my hands stink when I handle them when harvesting -the good smell of herb with an undertone of feces. The soil mix is more or less the same as it always is, compost, potting soil and perlite 2:2:1.

My guess is cat spray just a guess! But cats love herb and ive heard once before that my pal found his girlfriends cat spraying all over his plants he said it tasted so terrible he had to bin it

Cat spray is not a bad thought but why would it only spray the DR´s? All the other plants smell OK...I grew six different strains (DR, AK47xLR2, Thyphoon, LR2xHollands Hope, "EWS" (test strain) and "PR" (another local variant)) and only the DR stinks.
