Another trick is to slightly misspell your name. I usually like to order around Xmas when I can my thinking is that with all that holiday mail it is easier to get lost in a crowd.

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Police say an intercepted order of marijuana seeds prompted investigators to arrest a Columbus doctor and his wife on drug possession charges, RTV6 reported Friday.

Investigators found more than 30 marijuana plants in the home of Dr. Arnaldo Trabucco and Pamela Trabucco, police said.

Authorities searched the home after customs agents in Chicago intercepted a package of marijuana seeds from England. Police said they believe the Trabuccos had ordered the seeds on the Internet.

The case will be examined by the Bartholomew County prosecutor's office, RTV6 reported.

EDIT: Notice that the article provides a tremendous amount of information on how the police went about this. I have a feeling one of the cops blabbed to the reporter on how they went about this. How likely is it that the Chicago customs does not report this regularly? I'm sure they do, but rarely say how they went about it publicly.

EDIT EDIT: To add insult to injury, this guy is a leading urologist in his field. He had his license suspended and later moved to NV to practice. His wife is a medical pot user.

if it were me, which its not because i subleted a room for a few months just to get the addy i would finish up my current grow (hopefully large enough to have something tucked away for the upcoming dry spell) and have the seeds orders arrive in the down time. No green tape is a green light, start up full force. Green tape, spend a few months acquiring equiptment, chill out, order again. Wait.... start the grow. thats just me.

Almost everyone I know has had seeds sent to their house. If no one knows then whats to worry about? Seed companies send their seeds very very stealthy, there's nothing to worry about, these things are smaller than your pinky nail. Let's say some seed companies send their seeds so stealthy I almost lost all 10 of my seeds on one delivery, luckily my floor was clean and spotless so it was easy to pick the seeds back up lol.

If your parents don't mind... I don't see why not. If on the other hand your parents don't know or would care, then maybe it's time to look into a P.O. Box....

I like po boxs don't know about seeds but I've got 1/4lbs every 3-4 weeks for years at alot of po boxs and I'm still here

if i remember correctly the dr had already had multiple seeds seized.. and still used the same addy, and was already being watched... and the whole thing about po/mail boxes is crazy... if they wanted to get the person who is recieving seeds a po mail box isnt going to stop them, they will just camp you out till you pick up the package and bust u. false sense of security..not to mention its impossible to get a mail box without id...you either have to risk exposing your hobby to someone or send it to your house. or the mail box thing which is the same as having it sent to your house.

Well, this is a pretty old post, but I'm new here and I just saw it soooooo. I'm looking at some seeds I want right now, and I'm just going to have them sent to me at home. I'm not growing anything at this time so all they can get me for is seeds.. I guess that would be enough, but I'm going to do it. I'll let you know how it turns out ;-)
