Heat mat for a wick cloner

I was wondering if anyone is using a heatmat for thier wick cloner, is heating the water up gonna cause any problems. i am at about 100 percent cloning, but thinking this might speed up the process.

if the water is to warm they wont root people try to keep water cool not heat it up

I actually tried this....the water heats up and it makes itself more susseptible to algeas and bacterias.....wouldnt reccomend it

I use a wick cloner(vermiculite) I use bottom heat but not a mat....


the shelf my cloner sits on is from 82-85 degrees.... above that is probably too warm.....
I use the wall mart ice tube cloners...

thanks guys, i'm looking to get roots a little quicker. but i agree with bengie on the algea.
