City's medical marijuana ban to come before appeals court

This statement above is really the true bottom line. DA's all over CA know that the VAST majority of dispensaries, whether they are structured as collectives or co-op's or not, are not actually operating in compliance with the AG guidelines and current case law. Virtually all of them are operating illegally. DA's know this, they are not stupid.

However, they are also faced with the practical realities of budget constraints, manpower shortages, a MASSIVE number of operating dispensaries (particularly in LA and the Bay Area), and THE LIKELYHOOD OF FULL LEGALIZATION IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Yet Bonnie Dumanis figured she better take the bull by the horns and use the resources she has to "head it off at the pass" as it were and everyone goes ballistic on Bonnie because they know deep down she right and her idealology is a threat because it threatens the preservation of those who live in idiotic cites like LA where they have never done anything correct, including being able to convict a guilty man like OJ.

Why would anyone on earth look to LA to be the model of how things should be done when they can't do ANYTHING right? lol

Why? The State Supreme Court ruled yesterday you can collectively cultivate. You don't need to start a corporation or pay licensing fees . Form a collective. Unless of course you want to put yourself on the radar of every LEO and greedy city and county departments trying to tax you along the way.

oh and you will have to hold meetings and do shit loads of paperwork.
I believe an Ag Coop to be the most "legit' in the eyes of the law.Its the first thing the AG outlines and besides you make it sound like if you form a collective you don't have to do any paperwork or get licenses and thats not true.Collectives must also organize and get sellers permits from the BOE and keep track of transactions of everything etc.Forming an Ag coop is more difficult yes but I think it's the way to go in the long run.

Why? The CA Supreme Court upheld the rights of patients to share a private garden. Gardening and Seller's permits have nothing to do with each other. :joint::joint:

So the supreme court just threw out the Ag guidlines on forming a coop or collective? Please explain.

AG guidelines aren't law. They are the Attorney General's guidlines. Probably good to consider them carefully since he is the one who will press state charges against you if you break state law. His guidelines are not law. He could charge you for not following them, and the court could rule differently. The grey area is the laws are worded so loosely.

The Supreme Court decision is the law of the land here in Californee. If your rights are violated, the decision also gives patients the rights to file civil suits against LEO, Local city officials, etc.

I'm not sure if you were actually saying that you think you could win a court case against Jerry Brown but if you were all I can say is "Good Luck, you're gonna need it".
