Not much into politics but it pisses me off how often nanny state laws are passed with the intentions of "protecting the children" etc
If they really want to protect kids, and have them grow up into sane, responsible adults, they should make parents need a license to have children, have them pass classes that show they're capable of raising child properly.

You can buy them from outside the US, that is legal. Sale and distribution in the US is what is illegal.
