Cops Just came.. I have Medicann..

So, I get a phone call from my girl She says theres Cops at the House Asking about my Plants so i tell her to tell them ill be there in 10mins..
I pull in the Drive way as i see 3 cop cars chillin the the front of my house ..
I Walk up and pull out my Medicann Card and my Papers Medicann gave me..
So thay start looking at them and Walking around my plants Looking to see how many i Have.. and i Only have 4 Flowering, So im well within the limits..
And then The Cop starts geting on my Ass about Something Call "Grows Certification" WTF is that.. When i Got my Card and my Papers from medicann thay said i Can grow as long as i stay within the limits Thats why i GOT the card in the first place..
So the Cop says hes not going to do Anything But i need to get the Growers Certification As soon as i can or thay can arrest me..
How do i get this Certification WTF are Thay Talking about!?

Thay just said you need this Growers Certification and i was like o really? ive never heard of that and then he said yeah You need to call your Doc or something.. He dident Really say Much besides i need it..
But shouldent Medicann MD Recommendation and Physicians statement be Fine if im within the limits?

Usually your county public health department deals with these things, you could look it up on your counties web site.

As far as I know, the growing certificate should be with your cannabis recommendation. Most doctors ask, will you be growing, and the growing certificate denotes how many plants are recommended to grow. Else the leo have no way to know how many plants and how much cannabis you're recommended to consume. It's called, Growing Certificate for Medical Cannabis. The Doc fills it out for ya, and you post it at your grow.

I agree. Since my recommendation is for fifty plants I guess that's why I have one. I didn't think one was needed for state limits. BS no doubt, BUT to reduce the confrontation it might help.

There is no such thing as a legal growing permit or certificate. The cops are ill informed and just hassling you.

In the State of California there is no "Growers Certificate" of any kind. Stand up to your local police and tell them that if they arrest you, they will be personally liable for damages, and be subject to personal lawsuits against them for breaking California law.

Amen!! Good advice. Certification my ass...the filthy pig just wanted to leave with a stern warning so he would not lose face by having to admit he had no business there at all and leave. Cops hate it when they leave deflated and unable to ruin your day, or life...the sick freaks..so they instead make it seem you are doing something wrong, even if they cannot quote chapter and verse.

Screw the cops. stand firm and let them know they will be facing a lot more than you if they continue the shit.

budlykush is right look up patient ID center in oakland aka OCBC they issue it for free with your card. card costs about 30 bucks or so.


all that being said if you have your card and papers thats all you actually need, the cops are just fuckin with you cause they want to save face and not look like clowns. cops lie ALLLLL the time.. not all cops are bad cops but there are enough out there to assume each one is bad/lame.

all THAT being said go get your growers certificate and ignore the terrible terrible commentary in this thread from the people who arent aware that it exists.

I sure as fuck have mine. I dont even grow right now but got my cert and keep it posted at all times regardless. 215 in full compliance

Your county/city might have a very specific requirement like this, but Prop 215 and SB420 make no mention whatsoever about a growers cert, so the need for it could probably be challenged successfully in court.

I agree that there is no statewide requirement for a growers certificate. I am part of a legal collective being formed in Riverside Ca and they are issuing a "growers cert" to show LEO that the growers are growing specifically for the collective and its members. I would HIGHly recommend you get the State/County ID card (if available to you) and not rely on the MediCann card and Dr. recommendation alone.
