In the past when I have had big roots growing out of the dirt, I spread a little layer of straw all around the top of the soil. It worked well, and it helps the top of the soil from drying out as much also. But nice plants.

you could cover them, but you don't have to. they are as much branches as they are roots. they have hardened and are doing their job exposed as they are. i feel like covering them with dirt or straw willc hange the amount of moisture they are used to dealing with and could promote rot.

Is yours from clone? The one I have is the "Purple Kush" clone that is taking over BC. I am 100% positive that the BC purple kush is actually pre 98 bubba kush and the name just changed when it was brought to BC a few years back.

ive suspected the same thing many times, ive seen plenty of "purple kush" that was obviously bubba.

mine came from S1 seeds, they were given to me but i assume they are the version sold on dr.green thumbs site(buds look identical to the one posted) which apparently is the katsu cut

Hey Bogan nice strain selection, Timewarp and bubba are two of my favorites. How far off is the timewarp?

I was gonna say that looks like the katsu cut. The buds seem to stack abit more on the katsu.. the pre 98 buds just get denser and denser.

Timewarp is already down. They were rootbound and started flowering end of July I think. Only had one pheno I was impressed with it tastes like pink lemonade.. all the other ones were pretty bland. This is the last year I am growing it.. I like the buzz but I don't feel like selecting a mom and I have enough genetics to keep/small space.

Hey Bogan give the patchworks version a try these all had awsome flavor. I agree next generations timewarp the flavor was a little bland on some of the phenos. What do you have in mind for next year?
