I've just been layin low, it's hard for me to come here w/o having anything going....lol
a buddy of mine gave me some syringes (equador and malabar) but I haven't gotten around to starting them, maybe I will before too long. We'll see how things play out I guess... If things stay the way they've been lately here I might consider another run

There really aren't any grow shops near my home so I buy a lot of supplies from a tiny local plant nursery. Well, on my last trip to pick up some worm castings, I noticed they now had these little cheap bricks of coco. After 9 years of growing in soil and not having a clue as how to grow in coco, I said "fuck it" and bought a couple bricks to experiment with anyway.
This is what the coco looked like...
I got home, expanded the coco and flushed it thoroughly using RO water with 5ml Cal-Mag added. I then pressed the coco to remove most of the excess water. I filled a couple small pots and grabbed a couple of VERY small clones (1 White, 1 SoCal MK) that had just shot roots and transplanted them directly into the coco. I watered with the same RO/5ml CalMag that was used for flushing and put them directly into flower.
I'm currently around 30-35 days flower and both plants seem to be doing OK, but I've got a few questions. Now, I'm not sure how many of you F.U.C.K.s have expertise in coco and I probably should have posted this in the coco forum, but hopefully someone here can help.
From what I've read, it seems most people water/feed a few times each day? Well, my coco seems to stay pretty moist for a couple days so I've only been watering every few days in fear of drowning their little asses. I know its a no-no
, but I've pretty much been treating it like a soil grow for the most part. The RH in my flower room is pretty stable at 35% and there's plenty of air movement but the coco just doesn't dry up as fast as I'm thinking it should. Should the coco stay moist for this long? Should I add perlite to help it dry out faster? Do I need a better grade of coco?
Sorry for such a long ass post, but can someone help a goat out?

goat, I know one of the early fuckem boys used coco I just can't remember who. I'm thinking maybe weldflash?? This may take awhile, but if you go back to the early days of the tri state thread you will find a bunch of info there. I remember whoever it was tried it for the first time and as far as I know never looked back. I've been debating it myself. Plants look nice.

Xtrakritical used coco for that huge azz Sour Diesel IBL he had run for 101 days check his thread. Maybe could throw out some pointers too, although he's back to promix bx

ahh lets see whats next here..all my moms..I keep em small..
cloner..all them droopy leavees up front mean nothing but that they are makin roots..I have tried all different ways of cloning and this is the one that works for me..I should be seeing roots on the BPP and mango in a few days..
the can..casey jones and agent orange..
my AK gettin ready to finish in about 10-12 days..
heres a weirdo I found in some scbb x bluebubble..see theres no node up top? just 2 leaves!
guess who learned to use a spoon and cut a tooth and said ahhhh-ma ma mama last week?!
