are you going organic or what? I use organic so I have no choice but to run dwc. And frankly i love it.. I even added a drip system to my dwc and I didnt like it. I took it out. It made my roots slimey for some reason. It think all the organic debries were getting stuck in to roots when i was using drip.
sorry its hard to make it out in the pix. But I see you are growing in a black tub. so yea thats fine. It looks good. should work fine. maybe hydroton or you could use perlite. You might need a expensive timer for rockwool i dont think you want to watter rock wool too long. But im no expert on rock wool.
your right zealious ive been growing with rockwool for a long time if you do a dripper in it you put the timer on for 15 mins out of evey hour ,to let oxygen into the root zone over here segmental timers are very inexpensive dont know about the U.S tho. looks good kanye keep up the good work
and the rest of the set up!!!
not really worried about algae probs either, cause i change my resivoir every week, my biggest concern is making enough resivoir nutes got alot bigger resivoir now
wish me luck
hows it look?
yea my plants will be in black pots, and should have enough root space in there for a hydro grow
nice set up by the way, looks better than the dwc i had going, love how u have the bubbler so close very nice
is that ur first DWC
have u had a harvest from 1 yet??
good job man!!!
yea i was wondering y the tape was on the fan also
hmm cant think of anything logical it could do for the room/plants
as long as it good tho, im all for it!!
keep em coming yaw
LOL, i have finally got the parts for a drip system, and this time im really gonna go threw with it i swear
so ill have pics to post in my own lets see those hydro set ups post
whoo hooo

keep em coming guys.... peace!!!
thats a sweet set up nuka , i take it your waters quite hard with the RO filter that must have cost a pretty penny ps why's the tape a around your fan ,jus wondering
I like the way you set it up. I like how big the pipes are and everything. no worries about clogs.
Thanks Im glad you like it. This is my flower unit. My veg unit is similar design but smaller.. and its made out of recycled plastic.
my cloner\
And this is my first hydro venture.. But Growth has def been rapid to the point where I might end up being a soil convert.. But we shall see how organics go with hydro.
Keep up the good work homie. You are on the right path. You could paint it if you want it dark.. just lightly sand it and use some cheap paint. light coats.

if you want any more pics of specific things just let me know
the tape cuts down the turbulence which apparently is strong enough to blow over my plants! The tape does reduce the effect to a manageable breeze.
No, my water is actually only 80ppm x .7 from the tap.
I believe that absolute 0ppm water is the basis for success. I know every nutrient in the water when i mix, i never have "grow issues" since everything is controlled 100% in my tent.
