So I picked some up, I didn't feel like getting spinnich today and I noticed this can had kale in it which I've been meaning to try for some time since it's pretty nutritious. It says low soidum kind, so how do I cook this stuff up? Looks kinda like spinnich and seaweed haha. Do I just warm it up and eat or do I warm it with salt or what?

Yeah, bacon will give it some good flavor and just warm it up. Anything in a can will already have lots if not tons of salt already. Good thing you got the low salt kind.

you have to clean them real good. or else youll get a gritty sandy texture. i love my moms collard greens mmm. read up some soul food recipes and follow it to a t....also from what i remember it was cooked for quite abit not quick heat up and eat.

dude06- I think he bought them in the can.

You do have to wash them if they are fresh, and they take a long time to cook properly if they are fresh.

Kale is delicious if not from a can. Just steam it, add salt and pepper and sliced tomatoes.
Collard greens are pretty much the same thing as kale, except you have to wash them really well and they're better when cooked longer.

Grits ain't groceries...eggs ain't poultry....and Kale ain't Collard Greens.

Luv me some greens, most kinds matter-of-fact. Best cooked fresh, does take a while but its worth it.

Beet greens rock as well.

Red wine vinegar goes nice on greens too. Mmmmmmmmmmm....

Well son of a bitch...... Went to look at the can wondering why I had kale and other stuff. I dropped the can of collard greens and I picked up the can next to it. Low and behold I picked mixed greens. So lol my bad, least I know what to do with collard greens now. So how should I prepare the mixed greens?

This has:
Ingredients: Water, Turnip Greens, Mustard Greens and Kale Greens, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein (With Caramel Color), Sugar, Flavor, Natural Smoke Flavor, Salt, Dehydrated Onions, Disodium Guanylate and Inosinate, Dehydrated Red Pepper, Black Pepper, Sodium Diacetate For Vinegar Flavor, Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, Garlic Powder.

This shit has a lot of vitamins but surprising amount of sodium even for low sodium sheash.
