leaving for 5-6 days, watering?

Hi :),

I have to leave my plants for about 5 or 6 days. They are lowryders, and they're in 11 liter / 3 gallon pots. They will be about 20 days old when I am leaving.

If I water them throughoutly before leaving, do you think they will have any problems getting dry? Perhaps it would help if I give them 12/12 instead of 18/6?

Thanks :)

They should be fine if you water them right before you leave. Also I would make sure not to have to much airflow on the plants this can make them dry up quicker. I've gone almost 4 days in coco without watering, they werent happy but recovered quick.

if your worried they'll dry out, you can hook up a small simple drip system. I used it when i left for about 4 days, and all of the girls were perfect, even with high temps. I just used a 5 gal bucket with a small water pump and a simple drip system kit from HD or lowes.

I'd water them very well and put them on a cookie sheet or house plant tray and fill it up with water. I don't think a thorough hydration alone will do. You could also put newspaper over the tops of the pots to prevent evaporation.
