Ok i am looking for people that have grown this strain before. This is my first time with it and to me the blooms just look small for day 28 compared to other strains i have grown. So let me know what you think do they look on track or behind or what ever.

I disagree because they have been trained vertical versus horizontal. NYCD can pack them on. They look great for 28 days.

Thanks guys for the input. I am just used to having double the size at this point. These ladies are up taking nutes like crazy. They look good. Just seem small i guess i will see.

just an observation from your last post, picture 2. its hard to tell but it looks like a little bit of "rams horn". could be contributing to the smaller nug sizes...did you see a delay in flowering once you set the light to 12/12? your not using anymore N additives right?

other than that they look beautiful and im sure you will enjoy them!

Your plants look nice and healthy. Just be patient and they will fatten up over the next few weeks. I notice that you have some sticky traps that are getting a lot of use. Got some bug issues? I know how that sucks.

I was delayed around a week and a half i think and yes had some rams horn. Just slightly getting again this was the last week i am using any thing with N. I just cant get them to stop eating they are up taking 200 ppm a day if not more.

As far as the traps go i had some issues with white fly's. I have that issue taken care of haven't had any fly's in a couple weeks. Gotta love mosquito dunks.

The NYCD F2's from AnnaC I grew seemed to be an 80 day strain. The Flo I grew next to it was twice the size at the same age.
It's good smoke but definitely, the long flowering time is a disadvantage.

These are from Soma it says 10 to 12 week flower time. There not many threads on here that i have found on NYCD so if someone has one please link me to it.

The girls are really taking off now i think allot of the size has to do with the flower time most strains i use are at max 63 days.

By all means if anyone has anything to add feel free, i don't take offense to suggestions or comments.

i grew some Soma Seeds NYCD a few years ago. Turned out great. Had the Ruby Red Grapefruit Pheno just like when i smoked it in Amsterdam. Depending on the Phenotype, it will take 10-12 weeks so just be patient.

I actually crossed an NYCD with a sensi seeds Hashplant. Never tested the beans but i know there will be a keeper.

I wish i could remember specific nute requirements but it was awhile back. Be Patient.

Right now i am setting base nutes witch is rock wool A&B to around 800 ppm and then with bigbud bump it up to 1000 ppm. they seem to like it, much over 1200 i start to see some nute burn. Put it this way i made fresh water Monday and it was 1000 today its 660 ppm.
