Hairs?

My plants are 16 days into flower . . . what are these little hairs? Do they become trichomes, or is this just something else?

Sorry for the color distortion, I desaturated the "Yellows" to get the HPS look out of the shot . . .

Yep, they look like trich stalks to me. They'll eventually grow little mushroom heads.

Hi there.Those are cystolith hairs a non glandular type of trichome.

Just thought I'd add, so when DO trichs show up? And do they have the lil mushroom heads right from the get-go, or get the later?

I believe they do have cannabanoids, but they won't get the bulbous head you will see on another type, nor are they as potent I believe. When you get them depends on what and how you are growing. The "bulbs" form closer to ending. When they get full, and amber, (with most species), it's time to chop and dry.

No thats the type they are, plants even have them in veg, though you may need a magnifying glass to see them. There are four types of trichomes I believe (if im wrong please correct me.) Cant for the life of me figure out how to post a pic. But dont worry see those round trichs, there the good ones.

green arrows - capitate stalked trichs
blue arrows - capitate sessile
yellow -bulbous trichomes
red -cystolith hairs

Ok, so those photos in the top of the pic are from day 16, here's one from today, day 20.

These are baby trichs then, ya? Didn't know they showed up this early.
