CMH bulbs for AF's?

I've been doing some reading about CMH bulbs over in the growing equipment forums and have really liked the way these things seem to perform on all the plants ive seen. First thing ive read is that cmh bulbs greatly decreases internodal length when used for vegging, and produce thick dense buds while flowering, which is great for sativas but for our tight little autoflowers do you guys think it will just be too dense and lend to bud getting moldy? apparently cmh runs cooler and more efficiently and also brighter in the color ranges our plants need the most to grow. im starting my first stealth cab now and just want to get a gauge for what could be the best light setup for autoflowers to yield as much as possible. theres so many permutations but im sure at least one person out there has tried cmh with an autoflower in organics, and id love to see what that person has to say.

I have a couple of Diesel Ryders under a 400 W CMH right now. They just sprouted yesterday. My reason for using the CMH is more UV and it looks better. It's pleasing to the eye.

i use an hps because i grow them under fluoros for the first 3 weeks. then they get thrown into the flowering box. it really all depends on personal preference.

Have you got any idea what the difference in yield is in your 12/12 flower box as compared to 20/4 or 16/6?

Also I read that CMH yield is , if I remember correctly, 15% less. I'm running some outdoor strains indoors for seed and hoping they do better under CMH.

ive been doing some general reading and have heard that the extra u.v. light helps with flowering. Ive also read that the spectral density is much higher compared to HPS and the usable light which is being thrown is also at higher levels(aka less green/yellow more blue/red at higher intensity). all that said, ive also been told that internodal length is shortened which would be good for stealthy grows but i plan to attempt to yield 20-30 grams per AF and am most likely gonna be using the AK which is stretchy under hps.
