i plan on starting this strain soon but would like to know a few things about this strain,with this being a sativa/indica how long did you veg for can you do a short veg on this one,is it a tall strain?
who has grown mandala 8 miles high

yeah i seen a couple people were growing it in the forum 1 doing it 12/12 from seed and the other guy growing it in a 1 liter cotainer dosent seem like to big of a plant

I posted some pics of my 8Mh high in there I flowered them at about 10-12" and they are currently about 2' or a tad bit more....heres the pics again from about 10 days ago...they still have like 3-4 weeks to go at most. looks to be 3 mayb 4 diff phenos. All of them smell diff ranging from minty, earthy, skunky, and one a mix of skunky & fruity. 2 of them being more sativa like with longer branches and spacing between the nodes. One straight up indica lookin and last one a mix of sat/indica with some branching but tighter nodes. The last 2 are gona be the heavier yielders. Btw the pics are in not in the order that i just described them above so u look and indentify them! Peace & Love
this one will yield the least ^^^^^
Btw i dont remember how long i vegged for but it was prob around 3-4 weeks at most from seed. Keep in mind that your light/enviroment/medium etc will play a big part in how they grow too! Hope that helps

damn those look really nice,im trying to grow all the mandala strains in one grow besides kalichakra,what size containers do u have those in
They are in 11ltr containers.....previous to that they were in 4 in sq pots til about 10-12in tall. Flowered a few days after being transplanted. In a day or 2 ill post up some fresh pics of them if u are interested....they have deifinately put on some weight! This is my first run of them so i'm pretty excited to see how they smoke when all is said and done.

cool i misread your other post i had thought they were in 1 liter containers,i had just picked up some 11 liter maxi pots so it gives me a good example what to expect in size.how far along are you quest?
Just smoked some 8mhxganesh - you probably saw the thread.
Got a couple different phenos - one sativa looking, the other indica. Smoking one of the earlier finishing ones now. I'll have some harvest pics up tonight probably.
Not much more than 24" tall, I vegged the one I pulled the other day for about two weeks or so, have to check the dates in my thread to be sure.
Happy stuff - only smoked the lower pop-corn buds so far but I'm hoping the the big chunky nugs end up a little more potent.
Probably wouldn't buy it again, but it's not bad. Got a shit ton of seeds so it might be something to work with.

well i got some sadhu,hashberry,and speed queen vegging,and im starting this one soon,is thier any truth to the smoke of the 8mh being a trippy visual buzz? the ganesh looks really good but im trying to stay away from the skunky strains cause i dont have a big enough carbon filter

No, I'm no pro but not a newb either. The GH White Rhino that I had before this was mind bending compared to the 8mh. Good smoke, but nothing overly exciting. But it's free now so it's all good!

Ive grown out 8MH a few times and it didn't hang around these parts. It was pretty weak in my opinion (every pheno i found out of a pack) and had a bland taste. I have another pack that hasn't even crossed my mind about being run again. To be pretty honest...i've found that *MOST* of mandala's offerings are pretty weak in the potency department EXCEPT for Satori. That bitch will have you sliding down the turnbuckle if you aren't careful.

That pretty much mirrors my experience of 8 Miles High as well, I didn't much care for it myself. That's probably because I've been used to Satori and fancied a change, but 8 Miles High didn't get close to what I'd been used to with Satori. Potency was down and I didn't much care for the high, which isn't as cerebral or 'up' as Satori.
I found it just as easy to grow, but feel Satori is a far better variety. Won't be growing any more 8MH.

I've been researching 8MH and have seen it recommended by people who were looking for a good indoor fast flowering sativa with little or no indica effects, with an energetic, up high. Only found a couple good recommendations, but both were from guys who really disliked indica effects and so I have been looking into 8MH and now that its available, I was looking for more info.
I'm glad I found your post, I was prepared to try the 8MH as I haven't heard any comments of it having any indica qualities in the high; that had my interest.
What I'd like to ask, if you didn't care for 8MH because it was too indica for you, may I ask what strain or strains you might like better because they have even less Indica effect?
I'd like to get as far from couchlock as possible. My first seed purchase included 5 strains, but the only one of real worth to me was an antique freeby, [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Arjan's Haze X Kalimist[/FONT] from Mist of Destruction.
Research has taught me these seeds are really old, from the 80s or 90s. My experience was that out of ten seeds only four sprouted, three lived and one was female.
I got really lucky with my one female, it grows like an indica if flowered with less than two months veg, but there's nearly zero couchlock in its uplifting effect.
It made no sense to me in the beginning that this plant would be ready for harvest in 50 days, despite what I was seeing. In the end, after experimenting with a few of the plants over a few of the cycles - when left to go more than 50 days they didn't get bigger or better, only more couchlock effect. Within 8-9 weeks all left to go that long looked scraggly and after the cure still tasted like weed left on the vine too long.
Now I harvest them all at 50 days and that seems to work out great for me. I've found a couple grow journals of this strain, one of which was attended and frequently commented on by Mist of Destruction (MOD) himself. He also posted some pictures. Out of all the seeds he had grown from that strain, he had one he had been cloning for years that looked like mine, surprisingly small and fast.
Since then I've been looking for more of that type to try, would have already tried 8MH but at the time there were none in stock.
My current grow includes the first of my new purchases, Jack F1, and Sweet n Sour Outdoor from Spliff Seeds. Durban Poison from Dutch Masters, Master Kush from Nirvana and C99 from Female Seeds.
I'm hopeful the DP or C99 may be fast sativas with little or no indica effects.
Are there strains you might recommend I research and try for myself?
