M.G. Tomato plant food

Just curious but has anyone ever tryed MG tomato plant food (18-18-21) in the veg cycle?? Also have you tryed using it in a spray bottle for misting leaves? Happy Growing

There is a video on YouTube on how to grow weed and she uses MG Tomato plant food to grow. I don't see why it wouldn't work when a lot of people use it to grow vegetables. Spending a lot on nutrients is sort of a personal choice. I do hydro and use GH because of the cheaper price compare to other expense nutrients. I have a soil going right now and I am using MG from a local hardware store. I think it cost less than $5.

MG can and is used, but you will get a better tasting reefer going organic. Also foliar feeding, just water it down like quarter strength say.

Thank you for the info,,, was real curious about it since the nitro is only 18 and the K is 21. Im sure it will give it a great rooting system, but will that be enough nitro seeing how its lower then the K nute.

Are you going to use MG at half strength right? Better look it up you don't want to burn the babies. I have never used MG of any kind ever but some do.

Actually just a little over 1/4 strength.. feed MG one day then next watering I use filtered water.

mg is ok ive used it but i dont care for it the low will bite you if your not carful and when you if you do have a def. and you try to fix it by adding more mg you will have more problems the in mg will cause nut.lock no joke you will have to flush the soil and start over from salt build up im using it as we speak but ive ordered some new fert.best of luck and if u dont mind let me know how your mg expirance is going
