Organic Hempy Buckets - First Grow

Thanks BG. I'm waiting for them to show sex before doing anything. These are basically being grown out to select clones for the new aero setup. I plan on using hempys for moms and aero for mini-sog. I'm sure I'll flower a few in the hempys just for kicks though.

On a side note, as soon as my powerskunk clones have roots I'll be doing a side-by-side experiment (regular hempy vs organic hempy). It'll be fun, two identical clones grown right next to each other, just slightly different mediums :rasta:

Is it normal for the first set of leaves following the cotydelons to falls off? Look at the lowest set of leaves on the first plant. I don't remember this happening in hydro, but then again I was pretty stoned lol

Sounds great easy as hell wouldnt ya say, hopefully I can get up some new shots tomorrow of my hempys there sick as shit 2 ft long 3 inch wide donkey dicks. I cant wait to see the new pics.

Hempy's are pretty sweet! I'll be switching back to hydro for the fall/winter grow but it's been nice to NOT have to chase root rot this summer :rasta:

The gro has gone well thus far, but I've experienced some heat issues so the plants need some bounce back time. I'm not sure how well the organic hempys will do with the lengthy grow, but the regular hempys are pulling strong for such small containers. I had to trim down the operation for now but will be rebuilding in October.

Pics!

thanks VG! The scrog has been on 12/12 for about a week now and is looking much better than the last pictures.

I've moved the males into the greenhouse and have switched all my girls to 12/12 (save for the power360 mom)

Currently working on a new grow room for my fall lineup, suggestions are appreciated!

I also got rid of the columbian sativa male and the ruderalis male. The good news is, this means I can pop some new beans! Hawaiian Sativa and Mendo Purp #4 have been sowed.

Still stocking up for the fall chamber :rasta:

Way to go man. Really good job! I love the idea of growing in simple buckets. They are cheap and effective. I think about setting up my DWC... system like this

thanks for the kind words all. It was a bit tragic, but I offically have an ex... let's leave it at that.

raphael - I think each style of growing has it's place. These buckets worked great for summer (no rot) and low maintenance. If that's your style, they're the way to go. However, for higher maintenance, faster growth, etc... I recommend DWC or RDWC. Just my opinion.
