Well about 4:30am it started to drizzle here and my girls are out in the open.
Thank the Weed God it didn't come down to hard, but I am going to start on the PVC shelter today so I can pull tarps next time.

What is everyone else doing to keep the girls dry...

I live in area not too wet during the flowering season, but PVC + clear poly = rain cover, that you don't have to go out in the rain to apply :p

we will get some breezes later today and then it will warm up for a bit. This is just an early rain and we should have a bit of time with some more clear weather... shake those plants off and sit tight for some more sun :)

yeah, it's not a big deal... Now if it's hot and humid all day, and I doubt it is, then you might have a problem.

BOO, rain... looks like it'll be nice and dry soon... no more rain forcasted for the near future. If the guys in the swamps can do it, we shouldn't cry too much about a little drizzle.

I just delt with this in my guerrilla plots...they got so weighed down, but I shook them a bit to remove the excess water, and I'm letting the sun keep them happy, and no mold, or mildew from growing. I was thinking about clear XL trash bags, and just remove those when it stops raining, or when i can get home from work. But in actuality I'm praying to the Ganja Gods for a dry Autumn!

I think the trash bags are a bad idea. Just my opinion, but I think you'd be trapping moisture inside the bag... I think some water from rain is preferable to high humidity and zero airflow inside the bag, even for short periods of time. There ARE spores of about 30 different kinds of mold on your plants. If you present them with an opportunity (the right hum and temp) they will take it.

Dam it

Dam it

It poured some time tonite the girls got no cover and are all bent over from water so its time to go out and do the shake.:badday: Dam early rain. Even thou I am ready for season change just wasn't ready yet. EHEHEHEHHEHEHE

I started putting my plants under a clear plastic last season and I hardly found any budrot at all with a strain that I was told was rather mold-sensitive (AK47).

A very good solution, if it is physically possible.

that's a greenhouse, hanuman... and I wish I had the skril to build one for my entire garden next year. i am just warniong against putting plastic bags over plants. airflow is your friend.

i use to build clear poly n pvc covers for the ladies when rain was coming, but it seemed that THAT caused more humidity issues and caused mold even more so. so i just shake em off and let mother nature take its course. the mini-green house/poly tarping works if u have really good air flow. but with big ass bushes its hard to do.
