More photos may help, different preflowers will mature at varying rates. The photo itself does not show any clear sex structures in such a way as to be definitive.

my experince says looks male to me but time will tell you have plenty of time if male before it spews pollen. when the balls start to group on sticks now your close to spewn pollen 10-14 days after they grow sticks and group up on the stick

By the looks from the picture I would say male. Still to early to be certain tho.

Hi, I'm a n00b around here too but having not long finished my first grow of unfeminized Big Bud I know what it's like trying to ditinguish male from female with little knowledge of the whole sexing process. All I can suggest is, Don't Panic! In a few days you will start to see the pollen sacks form and you'll probably feel a bit silly having doubted your self in the first place. I isolated my males a few days after I was sure that what I was looking at was pollen sacks and it was still another week before they started spew out their pollen.
