What worked for me is a 10 dollar microscope at radio shack. Harvest to your trich color taste!
I mainly go by color as well (I have a microscope), it was more of a joke anyway. Though i often get impatient near the end of my grows anyway so i use that rule to keep myself from harvesting early. (Though rules are meant to be broken)
when she tells me shes ready i pick her. great connection we share lol

That is actually good advice. I have a real microscope I use, though. 1,000x Student series. She is a beauty!
we usually take em when the timer dings!
