I got to check out the Payload bags at my buddy's store and they looked way buffer than the Bubble Bags. The material looked way stronger. It looked like you could hit it with a paint/sheetrock mixer and it could take it. He also had the Ice-o-lator bags and they were both stronger than those. The Payload bags are cheaper too. They also offer a 9 bag kit versus an 8 bag. And their big bags are 32gal vs 20gal for bubble bags. I am getting some Payload bags this fall. Anyone else use them?

Everything you'd want to know and more, abut the Ebay bag construction vs. Bubble Bag brand, etc:

http://icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=126937

in a nutshell:
1) 600 denier nylon abrades easily / is crap material
2) PVC coating on the inside. Horrible choice for waterproof coating for ice water extraction, seeing as it scrapes off easily.
3) Microns are inconsistent and not exactly as marked. And this set jumps from 120 micron to 45 micron? Should be a 73 instead IMO.

they're basically a butcher job. Even though most quality alternatives are more expensive, at least you get something for your money, instead of crap.

so the payloads are good and dont have the seem like the cheaper bags im guessing? im gonna buy some soon.....

Payload bags are great, and will last a long time like the original bubble bags. The cheap bags offered on ebay are made by people trying to make a quick buck. Although these bags do work they most likely won't last very long due to there poor quality. Payload bags will last alot longer and be worth the extra dollars in the long run.

Never used Bubble Mans bags, but have had a set of 5 gallon PayLoad bags for about 5 years and they take a licking and keep on ticking.

The payload bags also have metal ringlets/hoops in the top of the fabric so you can hook some kind of pulley up to them to pull them out of the buckets. They also come with a carrying bag. It is not as cute as the soft fuzzy one that bubblebags come in but who cares. I didn't know the payload bags have been around for 5 years. Great to hear people saying so many good things about them.

anyone using the Swiss Serar bubble bags on ebay, they seem pretty well designed, not a lot of info on the stitching though, anyone with any experience with these would be nice to hear
