First of all i want to say hallo to everyone!
Im a new indoors grower, but atm i don't have so many money so this gonna be a very cheap grow.

I only got 5 x 15w cfl bulbs that give 8000lumens each 2700 kelvin.

I will be doing 12-12 from seed, becouse i don't have so much space to use.

I will be getting about 5 females i will be growing, but i would ask if i could get OK results with 75 watt?

best regards - Akira

I don't work in lumens but I think you added an extra zero mistakenly... More like 800 per bulb isn't it?

What are the dimensions of the grow area. If it's a football field, you may need more wattage. :) If it's one square foot or so, you're good to grow.

okey, but the problem is in my contry we don't use sq. ft. what is 1 square foot in m2?

it says 8000 lumens on the pack, i can post a pic if you want to see it :)

Well I can always be wrong :) But I suspect it's a misprint. For example:

15w - 950 lumens

15w - 900 lumens

15w - 900 lumens

There are guys here doing 16 plants to the square foot and getting good yields. Plant count is irrelevant to yield. The wattage or lumens per square foot is a rough guide and then you can do as many plants as you want to fit under that amount of light. How many square feet or metres do you have?

I got like 1 m2, So they can't be too high.
I'll just make a try and use all my 10 seeds :)
Hopefully they are coming soon.

Low stress training (LST) bending your plants to reduce height, but mainly to increase the amount of light to lower buds.

Can we get pics of your setup? Would be a lot easier to tell you how many plants you could do.

Well I hope it works great for you!!!! I'd add some good ventilation and use nice soil and nutes. Should provide you with some diggity danks.

You'll have to buy some. Don't use outdoor soil. You'll be inviting insects into the house.

Fox farms ocean forest is great soil. I just wouldnt start my plants off in it. Start them off in some cheap generic soil that doesnt have any nutrients added to it. Once the plant establishes a descent root system and is ready for transplant, transplant to preferably the final size bucket full of FFOF. Good luck dude. Peace

Edit: I wouldnt start them off in FFOF because the soil is 'hot', meaning very nutrient rich and tends to burn up finicky strains that dont like alot of nutes. If it doesnt kill them off it burns the heck out of them.
