25 plants includes everything from a single germinated seed to a 20 foot tall plant and every other size in between, including clones. They each count as one. No exceptions.

Seeing as the residence it is being grown in is registered with Health Canada and that information is available to the police, exceeding your permissible plant numbers is... extremely unwise.

I figured that was just asking, I don't really see how unwise it is to sneak in your clones on top of everything or have your clones done at another residence to be safe, it just makes more sense for him to have clones going at the end of flower to get a full two months of veg and maximize his plant numbers without increasing his risk really.. how how hard is it to hide a bubble cloner, have a locked freezer or something where you do your clones and keep your official flower/veg rooms in legit numbers.

Fatigues is correct. 25 plants, period. Doesn't matter if they are clones, or 6 OZ C99's. 25 is 25.

There are instructions on icmag on how to build the controller unit. Make your own and you can use 5 gallon buckets. Then fill the fuckers up with coco and have at it.

Could he do that? Sure.

But the problem is, if you have a personal production license and the fact you are growing is 100% known for a fact to police, and they decide for whatever reason they are checking out your residence (ie., they have a search warrant):

1 - they aren't going to warn you when they show up - they are going to show up and in the door they come, like it or not;
2 - they aren't going to let a locked freezer or any other reasonable means of hiding your excess plants stop them from finding them;
3 - if they catch you, chances are extremely good they will charge you with possession, cultivation and trafficking; and
4 - while not yet signed into law, (but it will happen this fall if the present government survives a non-confidence vote) BillC-15 will put the grower and his GF in jail for a minimum of 6 months mandatory sentence, and with a few simple aggravating factors (kids in the house +3 months; rented accomodations, another plus 3 months) and suddenly they are facing a mandatory sentence of a year. And that's just a mimimum mandatory. Maximum is fourteen years. No first offence, no mitigating circumstances - no nothing. Six months to one year mandatory custodial term.

And if they find bags for making bubble hash or a hash press or tube for making BHO - that adds a mandatory sentence of an additional 12 months. Now you are facing 18-24 months, mandatory custodial sentence.

Contrast the paranoia and worry this necessarily brings with the the consequences of keeping it all 25 plants or less. Then you have ZERO fears, no paranoia, no legal exposure, no worries whatsoever (other than people breaking in to your house to rip you off).

That's a no brainer to me. 25 plants is WAY MORE than enough to ensure you are swimming in more weed than you can ever consume for personal use - even if only 6-8 of em are being flowered at any one point in time.

And you can do it 100% legally without any worries or concern about prosecution.

That's a no brainer choice to me. YMMV.

Trying to do extra is stupid and deserving of being on 'America's dumbest criminals'.

Let me get this straight you said 9x600 watt lights for 25 plants. That's a bit of over kill don't ya think. theoretically you can do 25 plants in a 25 sq foot place if you use the minimum of 1 sq foot per plant. 2 lights will give you 50 watts per sq foot. You could go 3 for 73 watts per sq foot. I can tell you from experienece with hydro the plants can't produce more yield between 75 and 100 watts per sq foot. There is a cut off where plants can't process the excess light so you're just wasting power.

You created the thread title, not me. you should have titled it "How to properly obey and follow rules to 100% and not grow a ton of extra weed for profit"

And to the other poster: get real, no cop is showing up at your door with a search warrant if you have an MMAR exemption unless you are carrying garbage bags of weed out your door and distributing them amongst school children. You bring the fire and cops in once setup is done to make sure everything is up to code. If they want to show up again they can make a fucking appointment. no one here is saying grow 100 plants. but its not hard to keep 1 mother plant off site. hell grow 24 plants and keep one mother. but if you think med growers are simply throwing their extra 20 lbs in the trash well then...


edit -- actually, dumb cops have been known to raid MMAR exemptees' homes so you arent totally out there, but its still kind of outlandish considering the whole point of being legal is to avoid these problems

Im not trying to put anybody down but the name of the thread is help me fuck the government and capitalize on my gf's license so setup 14 1000w lights for flower and a veg room and harvest 6 times a year with 12 plants in flower and 12 plants in veg
+ 1 mother at any giving time 8+ week veg with clones rooting being done somewhere else secret in the last couple weeks of flower thats 14 lights x 6 harvest/year with 1-2 lb plants.

I would arrange the plants as a grid and put vertical 400 watters between each one, if you smoke like a few oz a month you'll probably do fine with just 5 or 6 of them but if plant count is the only limit I say keep adding more 400 watters and keep them really close to the plants vertically arranged

If I were legal I would probably just buy feminized seeds and lumatek ballasts, switching from Mh to Hps to flower. that single harvest will probably last you a year and you can pull 3 a year
