12 week flowering Hydro Bluemoonshine Dutch Passion

Well people here is a pheno of bluemoonshine I ran from a 10 pack of seeds. It was very unique but not satifactory with the density and time frame of the strain. Veged for 2 weeks but got stuck flowering for 12 weeks which is not ideal when running a hydro system because the high risk of root rot. i managed to keep in clean with alot of work and money spent on cleaners. i used GH nuts with botanicare sweet which is a awesome product, I yielded a solid 2 1/2 pounds for 2 1000wtt hps lights. The buds were large and very unstable because I had crowns and spears threw out the tray. The smell was a spicy blueberry and this herb was very potent which surprised me. I would not recomend this strain to anyone for growing because of its long flowering time and lack of weight but if u are just a simple herb loving mother fucker than u would enjoy this smoke because i know i loved it. enjoy people and ask questions

Well as far as the tight vac they are awesome I have a couple sizes and the keep the stash fresh and stinky but they crack very easy so if u take care of them they will take care of u. Now to answere the was it worth it ? I would say no because it's not a very sellable bud even though it's potency is high. I don't like to run strains longer than 9 weeks flowering cause the longer it takes the more chances of having problems. It was an enjoyable smoke and had great flavor.

I've been using gh for 3 years now and I've never had one bad harvest. I would suggest this product to anyone doing hydro but I also suggest adding sweet and flora clean into the mix. I've recently switched to cutting edge solutions cause I was getting bored doing the same thing and I need a new challange cause gh makes it to easy.

Wow. Twelve weeks though... Hmmm. That's rather long for BM...

Looks like you still had fresh pistils coming up even at that date. Too much nitrogen??? Interesting pheno in any case.

Although you sound somewhat disappointed with this grow, you filled jar after jar of top notch quality smoke... I'd put this one solidly in the WIN column.

Haha good call on the nitrogen!!!! This pheno had alot of nitrogen issues when it was in it's first two weeks but o cut of the grow early on in flowering and only fed micro and bloom the rest of the way. So yes it was playing a big factor, that's why it's no longer in circulation. As far as filling them up haha that's only a small portion of it. There were also 10 purple punch on 3x4 of the 4x8 tray shown here but it finished at 9 weeks so i pulled it first. The canopy results are from proper topping when the time is right, plant placment is also key. Also here are some start to finish pics
