Has anybody heard of willie's wonder weed? Is it the same as William's Wonder? I started smoking Willie's 20yrs ago. Now I cant seem to find it. Anybody now anything about this strain?

Glad to hear somebody else mention this. The Willies we used to get in the midwest were amazing.

Just got a pack of Reeferman William Wonder seeds. Tried to germ 2 out of 10 and they haven't popped in a week. Will try the rest of the pack this week.

If there is ever a relist or old stock of Rez's Williams Wonder IBL I suggest you pick up a pack if you can. I know I'll be trying.

Willies was the first bag of nugz I ever bought. It needed to be bagged 3x to hide the odor of an 1/8. Damn that was good bud.

I was told a long time ago by dude who heard it from another dude and so on, that it was bred in Williams Ca.. Anybody else ever heard this? I never bought it.... but..... ya never know.

When you get really old or slightly dessicated seeds, ...

1) Scuff them very gently with sandpaper

This breaks the outside surface of the shell (you can tell under a microscope), allowing water to penetrate and...

2) I find it is best to pre-sprout them in water with H2O2 or Hydrogen Peroxide.

The nice thing with H2O2 is that it

a) Disinfects,
b) provides oxygen

The combined actions of oxygenation and disinfection allows you to keep them in a cup of water for days or weeks without them rotting, which is what would happen in plain water or in soil.

H2O2 breaks down into H2O and O2, and the oxygen bubbles prevent the seeds from drowning, and will often even lift the seeds up to the surface.

Always curious if anyone has decent seeds out. Most of the recent examples seem to be more indica dom. The midwest cut is a huge growing sativa dom that finishes out around 90 days.

PNW willies

90 day sativa? The PNW cut of the willies couldn't be more different, a pure breeding afghani line from back in the days of SSSC..Smells very unique, a solvent/sweet/dank flavor. Finishes in 44 days but can even be harvested earlier. Large flat topped buds as big around as a 2 litre. 16-17% THC. LOVES nutes, I don't think you can really over fertilize her (I have seen it run in EC 4+ and not have problems). I believe it originates from Williams which is a bit south of Eugene on the 199. Apparently they still breed it out there, but the clone is definitely special. Also very crystally and has purplish hairs (never red or dark). Always easily identified by the smell.

Newer company called Sickmeds is offering it now as an F3 from old sssc stock. Looks legit and there is a good grow log on a diff site. Def not a sativa, afghani ibl from the description. I've smoked the clone that goes around OR and its great.

I just took 3 cuts off my Sick meds WW f-3, begged to day 55. I'm very impressed with this plant.The 3 females I had from seed looked virtually Identical,also had a very nice male.These plants have 7-9 blades with total Indica appearance.Structure is really awesome...tight nodes, beefy main stem. Plant I just grabbed cuts off is maybe? 24in.Tall after 55 days, very bushy.Smell is not an Issue at this point. Am letting a friend flower out this seed plant, I do not have flowering space at the moment. I have every confidence this is the real deal and will perform as expected.Germ rate was 100% with no fussyness.That's my 2 cents up to this point!!
