I can't really remember but I'd say the biggest was 12-13 inches. I would highly reccomend running speed queen.

hey kaotic, any chance you remember what your average per plant yeild was last run? I just ordered some speed queen for my SOG.

Hello kaotic, looking good mate, they are filling out nicely after a trim, I'll be pulling up a seat for the rest of this one, can't wait to see them flower.

It's been awhile since I really dropped in for an update so here ya go. I've been hesitant as I'm trying to diagnose what's wrong here. This is the first time I've ran in to this I'm about to start doing some research...never stop learning ya know? I'll probably flip the lights tomorrow even as is.

cal mag. typical round the time you switch to flower. i didnt read the whole thread, but since youre in soil add some garden lime. i use espoma and just dissolve a tablespoon in hot water and water my plant with it. it comes in pellets that are made of lime dust i guess you would call it. but it dissolves to a slurry and i pour it on top and water it through.

Yeah, they're not going to make it...I'm sick of fighting these things. I could have already started over and been to the same point I am now. WITH healthy plants. LESSON LEARNED. I'll post when I have something new to show.

damm dude that suck when that happens. I learned that lesson long time ago.
like some times my plants will grow like monsters and some times they will grow like deadly zombies. in the same soil even.

I have had to start over 5-8 times this year alreaty.

what I like to do at the end of an ok/sad grow is right down what went wrong then for my next grow try to not do it agen!

sorry to hear about that kaotic. Im working on some heat issues before i drop my speed queen. Hope things go better next time around.

Everything is fine. It wasn't lime, there's enough in the soil, didn't need cal mag as there's plenty in the water around here, wouldn't take any ferts either. Turns out I had a horrible case of critters burrowing in the root system eating holes through them and into the bottom of the stem. I'm going to have to give up on the black cow or start baking it first. I've always used it but never had this problem. After I examined the bag it was full of creepie crawlies.
But on another note I'm going to start some seeds that I've been wanting to try for a little while now.

These should be very short and stocky. Hopefully they will carry the mothers taste/smell and the fathers growth structure. I won't be trying to stabilize the autoflower trait. I've been breeding away from it trying to keep a small plant with short flowering time and strong nature. Somewhere in these seeds I'll find what I want, not this time around though. I'm only planning on starting ten.

Mother
Kentucky indica X Masterlow F-1

Here's an f-2 niece of the above. Non-auto. Still not what I'm looking for so that's where the Mandala#1 male comes in.

Well I thought I had some pics of the father but apparently not. He was very short and stocky. Very quick as well. He STRONGLY leaned toward the New Zealand Purple Indica side of the cross. All I'm really looking for is his structure and non auto characteristic. Wish me luck.

Here we go (again)

Here we go (again)

OK I'm going to try this again. No soil bed this time around. The strain is MIS X Afghani. I was going to run the aforementioned cross but something came to light and I had to start something else. I gave a friend some seeds that he test grew for me and the results were very good. More potency than the MIS but the same acrid, dusty, earthy, wild taste. It is a very nice indica but my friend said he had one herm. He has herms in every run so I'm not going to believe it's the strain. That is why I'm doing a test grow here for these cause I have sent some seeds in to the bay. I've asked OP to hold back on listing these till we have some results here. I've got a 10/10 germ rate on these. the one in the top left is just breaking soil so you can't see it. They germ VERY fast just like the MIS mother.
