ive never heard any of his work...i assume its good or he wouldn't be half famous.

i have sypathy for him and his friends and family tho.

....even if he fucked up it's still sad. .... i doubt he was a "bad guy".

...look at "bradley nowell"...i don't think too many of you are gonna knock him despite the way he went out.

i think they should still air that show. this whole situation makes it educational. how does an addict intervene with other addicts? it happens a whole lot. probably about every intervention ever. but they don't really go into that on intervention unless they are problematic ass addicts as well then that shit is double intervention. i really wanna see that shit though.

The result was unfortunate. He was in pain and like most humans wanted it to end. I can't fault him. I do wish he had taken other avenues in his pursuit of healing. Take MJ for an example. Jackson just wanted to sleep, and he choose Dipravan. I just wshed someone would have enlightened MJ to the sleep inducing effects of an Indica.

peace

Survivors guilt

apparently he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder after the plane crash. then his girlfriend dumped him and that gave him the rest and made him go back to drugs again. sources say he was clean for quite some time.

y'all saying hes a dumbass are some cold motherfuckers. i would like to see you cope with the emotional trauma from surviving a plane crash and see your homies die.

RIP ADAM

I hate to hear this.

DJ was a good guy. I've known him since the mid-90's, when he was just a fat kid playing with Seth Binzer, Bret Mazur, JBJ, Anthony Valli, Dougie Miller, and Rust Epique. They had a band called Crazy Town, and none of them had a dime to their name. The were opening for BuckCherry in clubs and bars. DJ didnt even drink back then, he only smoked weed, and stacked rolls.

Then they became one-hit-wonders with a song called "Butterfly", made a little money, and started having problems. Rust OD a few years ago at his home in Vegas, Seth has been in-and-out of rehab for crack, and Anthony for heroin.

One year they played OZ-Fest, and the tour bus left without Seth & Anthony who stayed in Atlanta to party with my brother & some strippers. They spent all their money, didn't have a penny in their pockets, and called me to buy them airline tickets to NC to make the next show. I bought them tickets and that night they were thrown-off the tour by Ozzy's wife in NC.

After Adam survived the plane crash, I thought he might out-live all of them. We never know when the sands of time are going to run out on us.

RIP Adam

Sorry for your loss trouble.

I remember the song Butterfly and always liked the colorful music video.

Whenever someone dies relatively soon after a "close call" I somehow think of it as a reminder that we can't avoid destiny. Still, I would like to say: FUCK CRACK!

He is a dumbass
And I have been through a hideous emotional trauma, and it was family members that were buried, not friends.
But not only am I alive and well, I'm thriving.
Many people have been through much worse then this pampered dush and are doing fine.
Don't make excuses for him.

His family sure had a couple "dimes" to there name
The Goldsteins

The guy didn't deserve to die, but all this talk of a great tragedy is misplaced, if he would have died in the plane crash, that would be a tragedy.
But no, he cracked and pilled himself to death, that is a senseless, stupid waste

I would have preferred to see the final destination curse catch that blink 182 assclown way before this guy, but oh well, his clocks probably ticking too.

I know his heart was in the right place with that show he was working on with MTV, but it was probably not a good idea for a recovering addict to be around the "spots" again.....

Regardless of what he was going through, the drugs steal away all of your coping skills.

Fvckin' shame....Philly native too :badday:
