Hey there! I'm BudGood, some of you I know, some of you, I am meeting for the very first time... :chin: (A cookie to whoever got the Austin Powers reference)

I'm a medical patient/grower/caregiver here in good ol' Colorado, USA! :woohoo:

Here is the specs of my rooms:

Lighting is 3-600w core and coil HPS, flip flopping between 2 rooms. The soil room is about 5'x8', with about a 3.5'x8 grow canopy. I have 21-3 gallon buckets with amended reused FFOF soil, holding 13-unknown sativa Blueberries from a fellow patient and electrician, and 8-AK47's (an old cut, been around for years), the buckets are sitting in a cheapo 2x4 frame with pond liner covering it, right on the floor. There are Bio-Bucket's are in the other room, it is also 5'x8', with a 4'x8' grow canopy (it's tight in there, especially in late flowering!).

The soil room is CO2 enriched with a air-cooled CO2 generator, and has 6" air cooled reflectors, each reflector getting cool air from a custom plenum made from aluminized foamboard and aluminum tape (thanks for the idea hoosierdaddy!), and exhausting through a similar plenum. I built a trellis system out of 1" PVC, with 3/4" legs. I have to find the post that inspired it, and I will link it. I used trellis netting with 7" holes, didn't like it, so I doubled it over, and made each hole 3.5x3.5 instead. This room has a LG 65pt dehumidifier, and a LG 8000 btu a/c mounted in the wall, with a Control Wizard temp/humidity controller handling it all. A separate exhaust fan turns on if the room gets too hot. A cyclestat controls the CO2, turning on every hour for a minute and a half (my generator only needs to be on for a little over a minute based on my room size). The bulbs in this room are Osram Plantastars, they have great spectrum, the first bulb built from the ground up for horticulture.

The Bio-Bucket room is run with continuous exhaust, which feeds the air going into the air-cooled hoods in the other room. There is a 6" carbon filter catching all the stinky. I have a modded Stanley blower pulling cool air into the room, with a filter on the intake, which pulls from the lung/res room. The Bio-Bucket room has 10 AK-47's, I've run it in the buckets before, and it did well. This run I upgraded the pump to a Dolphin Amp-Master, this pump is 3 times as strong as my old pump (Quiet One), uses 1/3 of the energy, and has zero temp transfer to the nute solution! Worth every penny. I created my own "tomato cages" out of PVC and string, and hot glued them to the lids. The lids are also a new addition, they are the one piece 5 gallon bucket lid and netpot (6"). I also hung some cheap Walmart Massey fans near each bulb to cool them off, works like a charm! The bulbs in here are Agromax reflectorized, basically a knock-off of Gavita lamps, they work just as well as the expensive brand name Gavitas. I have 2 Gavita Dew-Guards, after next harvest I'll get another, for now I have an old Super Sun reflector holding one bulb, it works, but the Dew Guards have much better adjustability. Someone said these same bulbs are going for 50 bucks on Ebay, worth every penny!

Nutrients are Dutchmaster Gold for the hydro, with their Liquid Light/Penetrator combo, and their Max flowering additive. Once ADD27 comes out, I'll use it instead of the Max. For soil, I'm using Age Old Organics, using the LL/Penetrator also, and Liquid Karma. I have a few other things, like enzyme products (Zyme by AN and Cannazyme), B52, and a few others that I use once in a blue moon.

Well, enough of that. Heres some pics! :woohoo:

This is the soil room:

Another view, you can see the green CO2 gen, and the white Control Wizard on the far left:

This is the dehumidifier, it sits in a little cubby out of the way, up high:

Here's the plants, the sativa blueberry is on the left, the AK on the right:

A view from inside the room, looking towards the door area:

Here is the lung/res room:

Here is the waterfall with the cooling/oxygenation fan, no chiller needed here! :woohoo:

Here is the entrance to the Bio-Bucket room, to the right of the res/lung room:

A few pics of the plants and the modular support system I created:

In this one you can see the Massey fans I hung up to cool the lights:

And a pic of the roots, 7 days into flowering:

The pics from the soil room are from the 26th, the hydro are from the 28th. Thanks to my brother for bringing his camera by, 8MP is much better than my 2! You'll all see the difference when I post some pics from my cam. :)

Anyhow, thanks for stoppin' by!

All righty then! I am gonna hang out right over here and watch and learn! That is a hell of a nice set up you got there, you are not fucking around my man! Makes everything that I have done look like childs play lol! I'll be taking notes, love the detail on the set up, lots of DIY that looks top notch, gotta love that.

okay, so are you just running the two rooms, no veg? The soil room and the hydro room are both flowering rooms, right?

Props for getting some pictures up. Setup's looking clean, I'm loving the individual scrogs. They turned out great.

I'm still waiting to upgrade to bio-buckets/RDWC/UC. It's gonna be expensive for me because not only the system, but also the chiller for the temps here. And then I have to get an electrical upgrade to even run the chiller. So it's lookin' like it's going to add up.

I'm doing one more all soil run and then I'm going to start veggin in some flood trays to get ready for the bucket upgrade and finish up a second last round in soil. I'm sick of all the supplements though, I'm going all FloraNova lucas style next round, maybe some bloom boosters when the time comes because I can't really resist.

I'm going to be using your thread as a reference to how well the AK can preform in your style system. It will probably be what I'm running first when I snag an under current system. I know you've gotten some good numbers off the same system, but I know you can pull even better numbers. The original numbers were w/o CO2 as well right?

I think 6 a piece can be done in the hydro system. Although that 5 gallon buckets going to be packed with roots when you push them that far.

Do you have any predictions, goals for either of these rooms?

Wanna drop some knowledge on any other genetics you're playin with?

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. :)

Ganoderma, that is correct. I can veg in both of them by changing the position of the middle light on the flip flop, so either the center light or the 2 outer lights are on, flipping every 4 hours for veg. Then I just replace the leads and change the timer to 12/12. I have a separate veg area, getting pics of that together, thus the reserved area above. :)

Thanks for stoppin' in!

Thanks! They took a bit to build, but they are really going to help, I'm sure. Last time I had plants that were falling over they were so heavy!

Yessir, I love the bio-buckets for ease of use. I have been checking out that UC system, I think I might pick up a couple of those here in the coming months. I've seen some nice results in them! Yeah, it'll be expensive, but worth every penny!

Yes, the last was done without CO2 also. Too hard to maintain a CO2'd environment and keep the root zone oxygenated, easier to just run good ventilation in the bio-bucket room. I had flow issues before, so with the upgraded pump, LL/Penetrator, the trellises, the bulb fans...All those upgrades are going to bump my yield way higher. This is an old clone, kinda lacking in vigor, but still puts out nice stuff. I'd like to pollen-chuck and find a new one from the resulting seeds, this clone has been alive for over 10 years easily.

I think 6 a piece can be done in the hydro system. Although that 5 gallon buckets going to be packed with roots when you push them that far.

My answers & comments above are in bold. To be honest, I'm really excited this time, with all these little modifications I've done, I can see my yield going way up. Thats why I wanted to run either the AK or Bubbleberry in there, since I've ran both before, to see how much better I can do this time with the same genetics. I'm not going to jinx it by putting an estimate on it, just going to watch with bated breath... :canabis:

I have in my veg room right now: AK47, Bubbleberry, Hollands Hope (SkunkxAfghani), OG Kush, 2 Blueberrys, Jack Herer, Juliet (C99xNYCD), and a Bubba Kush that might get shitcanned, has grown very little in 3 months despite being babied and shown lots of love. The Jack and the Bubba are both from CT, and I've heard bad things about their clones...Time will tell. I'm looking forward to picking up some more genetics, just gonna finish this out. They are around day 8 today.

Thanks for stopping by Tripsick!

dude, I am fricken impressed. You are the man with that setup... like any gardener's wet dream. I think I'm gonna get out my note pad for this thread, too. I like how you hung those fans cooling the lights. Keep posting man, can't wait to watch them ladies get all swollen and crystal'y for ya!

Nice grow!! My only critique would be that flat white paint is way more reflective (with no "Hot Spots")..than mylar--
Very nice job!!:woohoo:

SweetBOG, thanks! :D I'll get some pics of how I hung the fans, used cup hooks and plastic plumbers strap for the 2 outer ones, and some rope for the middle one.

kmk420kali, thanks man! Actually, that isn't mylar, it's aluminized foamboard, I sheeted the walls with it because it was cheap in the soil room, I'm really broke lately, so I had to use the cheapest materials possible, and I had a few sheets laying around after I created the intake and exhaust plenums. My only bitch about is it's too easily damaged, aluminum tape fixes it right up though! Later when I have more $$$, I want to use the same white melamine board I have in the BioBucket room to sheet the soil room walls. This is merely temporary. :) Good eye though, and I agree with you 100%, this is just to get er done! :D

Damn NICE setup Bud Good.
It looks and sounds like to took the bull by the horns and rode it all the way home. Good Job. Look forward to watching this and seeing your results.

lookin good!
you need to try some of my Bubba, i Guarantee it will kick CT's bubba's ass. i have not heard too many good things about CT clones. i know they used to have a few good ones, minus the mites.

pikes peak 69, thanks! Coming from one as experienced as yourself, I take that as a huge compliment! :)

clonedoctor420, yeah, I'm about ready to shitcan it, reminded me of a story pp69 was telling me about another clone from CT. There were no mites, thank goodness. I wanted to flower it once, but it might piss me off and I might wack it. :D Definitely, I want to pick up a Bubba from you in the near future. :hotbounce:

Wow! I really like how you've pulled it all together in that space! Well done!! k+

How you keeping your res filled with "fresh" water? Didn't see any lines to it?

Thanks! It is being fed with tap water from the cold water line, tapped into the main line with a pierce valve, 1/4" line to a plastic float valve in the res, keeps it exactly at the same level. I'll take some more pics and post em when I show my veg area. Thanks for stoppin' in!
