Climbinghigh's Creekside Garden 09

S

ShoeboxSherman

I'm wondering if extra N like whats in the fruit n flower (5-8-4) is too much at this point, also slowly released/broken down compared to liquid ferts, maybe just EJ grow with EJ bloom for now?

Anyone with experience with using FF fruit and flower as a top dressing?

Hey first I wanted to say you have a nice garden there. I have some experience with topdressing w/ FF. I've used it this summer and I think you can tell a difference in your plants in 2 or 3 days. I also dress with it about every 2.5 - 3 weeks. I'm growing 100% sativas, so my plan was to top dress once or twice more with FF and then after that use guano only. That's about all I can comment on, I know that doesn't answer your question, but it's all I have :joint:

Thanks shoebox, that does help a little- anyway its nice of you to stop by.
I wish I could grow sativas here, I got some thai haze x skunk 1 that I bet would get huge in the right climate.:D

thanks cheesebuds

I liked the cheese I grew last year, distinct dank flavor- yum

these are clones of a different mother, fruitier smell, and much smaller than last year's plant.

I wanted to include a pic of my cheese plant from last year in the post above, but couldnt find it at the time- so here it is

I think this was taken some time in late September

Harvested on 10/10/08.
she yielded a QP of fairly dense high quality bud, good smell, taste and potency, a little mold but not bad- lost about a 1/4 oz.

Definitely looking forward to smokin more cheese this fall:kos:

Peace.

hey, :monkeyeat

went out today to top dress the younger plants in creekside 2 with FF fruit and flower (5-8-4). getting jump-started into flowering nicely. watered everything w ferts. I got some organic molasses today. Expensive but it seems like higher quality than Grandma's. I really need some guano but too broke at the moment ):

pics from today:

SAL mix plant- lookin weathered but I wanna leave her out for another week. Buds are sour skunky smellin and frosty as hell. I alredy cut the top off- good smoke :)

I did some supercropping on her -maybe too much, but she healed.

heres an unknown- maybe SAL mix?

heres a Manitoba Medicine #1 F2

heres a bagseed Kush

my 2 bigger ones- still not sure what these are either, but I think its a cross I made. Still recoverign form greencure burn, but starting to flower.

this one smells the best so far- like orange-banana

Peace.

hey folks,

Ive been away for a while cause my camera broke and updates just arent fun without the pics IMO.

Just got the camera software installed and still havent figured out how to resize my pics(easily). So heres a few random ones.

bagseed Kush, shes currently drying

heres a C- Plus F2, I think

and a stormy sky, nothing like trimming off fan leaves in the rain! lol

Ive got lots more pics but I gotta resize them all(thanks for the file size limit icmag ):

Iv'e chopped a few plants since my last post, some very good smoke from what is either a SAL mix plant or greens' C99 x GG- not really sure, but its getting those in the know pleasantly high.:joint:

Until next time-
Peace.

Very nice Climbinghigh!

Looking forward to seeing some new Manitoba Medicine shots!

thanks blynk,

I dont know if this a Manitoba Medicine or not, but it looks kinda like the F2 that I grew. The smell is amazing- its almost dry now, cant wait to puff. Still have more pics to post when I have more time.

Peace

The buds in previous pic did end up being super smelly good and tasty! Kind of reminds me of candied bananas.

I cut all of my plants but one- a Mandarin x C-Plus, on the 3rd of October. Last year I waited till the 10th, but the rainy weather made me think that its better to cut a little early( and the trichs were all cloudy with a few amber) than to lose it all to mold. So despite the shitty end-of -season weather, I lost barely anything to mold, much less than last year.

heres a couple pics, I still havent figured out my new camera software to resize them properly so I'll post more pics as time allows.

C-Plus up front and a Mr. Diesel's WonderBubble in the background

a stormy day, harvesting in the rain is no fun.

cheers and happy harvesting to all my fellow outdoor growers!

Thanks ICmag, for all that you've taught me without you this would not be possible.
