Hi,
guys i'm looking for little help :1help:
Long story short:I have 2 plants in DWC+drip system in pc case.I'm running two air curtains(dwc) and water pump for drip system(8mm tube which is going around the net pots-holes in tube are delivering water directly to the roots).Plant on first picture is showing signs of nutrients burn+roots are small.Second plant is perfectly fine+big roots without any sign of nutrient burn...I have discovered today(after two weeks) that first plant was receiving water from the tube directly to the roots but second plant didn't(net pot prevented it).
Here is my question:Why the first plant is showing burn marks and second not ??? Where i have made misstake with drip system ??? I tought that spraying directly on roots will help, but oposite is true.
Pls. if somebody can point me what i'm doing wrong.I know newbee with too many questions.
Anyway thank you in advance for help

Personally I would just have gone DWC instead of the combo. When the roots get into the water, the drip is pretty much pointless inmo. Are these the same starin?

It may be as simple as one plant being more sensitive. While I can't believe I'm saying this, plant#1 may be "overwatered." A drip system somewhat defeats the purpose of DWC which is: Massive amounts of oxygen to the roots.

Allow a digression; Plant a stretched seedling low in the pot, it will stall for a week or two as it grows new roots at the surface in search of air (some non-mj plants actually grow these roots above the ground.)

Allow direct contact until roots are able to span a 1" gap. While it's not a recommendation, I've let the gap exceed 6 inches or more. The upper roots are air-hogs, more concerned with breathing than feeding. They need merely be ... un-dry. The bubbles and high RH inside the tub will keep them safe.
