You've got so many threads going, you've got me hopping like a grass hopper in a hail storm. Are you asking me about blood meal or alfalfa meal? I did not recommend blood meal, someone else did. I've never even used blood meal. Just use what is easy and cheap to get. The mix I was talking about was for a soil mix and not for tea. I have recipes for tea on my webpage which I posted earlier. Maybe slow down and keep it simple. A nice simple tea is by volume of water; 2.38% compost and or vermicompost and 0.75% black strap molasses.
Actually I forgot you don't have a brewer so just use the compost; period for tea.

Do NOT use blood meal for tea ... use it directly in your soil mix. Just stop and think what adding water to blood meal is going to look and smell like...a rotting bucket of blood. You would be much much better off using alfalfa for a tea ingredient.

Actually it looks like a bucket of water with blood meal floating in it. It doesn't dissolve.

My very first tea attempt was with blood meal lol.

And don't bother making bone meal tea. It won't work. Bone must be mixed into damp soil and given two weeks to break down enough to become available.

burnone i'm glad you dropped in..1st off did'nt make any tea last night, was too tired...couple questions...is that also the case with bone and kelp meal.do they need to be integrated into the soil for a min imum of 2 wks to become activated? ......i'm gonna do yer basic #1 soil mix and #! recipe for organic food source.....a bit of background so you'll know why i'm crazy.......before i found this place.i was on another gardening board but they did'nt like to discuss mj....anyhoo,this guy had a mixture and he called it AL'S MIX,which consisted of pine bark mulch, perlite, peat and dolomite lime....the problem was he suggested mg all purpose as the synthetic food source..thats when i went on a rampage.killed everything in this county but the tobacco crop...as a result of that experience.i've got plants at 3 different levels of growth and sometimes not exactly sure what medium they are in..hehehe..its a fkn mess..soo,i've become very cautious with the mg all purpose and have been tryin to learn how to feed these plants with organic ingredients..if you are confused,so am i....another question..i've got 2 plants in bud and hairs are still white.one of them is in "expert"garden soil, and the other is in pine bark mulch, perlite and peat.what should i give them besides water?....also,ive got 3 plants in mg moisture control that are about a month old and are doin very well..when i repot, should i put them back in mg or somethin else?........I'VE LOOKED ALL OVER HELL BUT HEAVEN CANT BE FOUND...hank.jr

I WAS talking about bone meal.
My best advise is use one of the recipes from the beginners sticky the next time around.

Cosmic; This is getting waaay too confusing. You seem to be flipping back and forth from tea to soil mixes, from blood meal, kelp and bone meal without defining when you are switching gears. It is not possible to advise you like this. I suggest, like Burn suggested, that you spend some time reading and then come back with your questions.
