I have beans of it direct from North Mendocino County. I was told it is Purple Haze x NYC Diesel. It looks really healthy and has black stripes on it.

I've seen the strain with the same name in Oakland and the linage was different... I forgot.

Did you ask the Folks you got it from which one they thought or if they knew wich in particular it was... there are a few of them up north

Keep us posted man, b/c I have a Sour Diesel x Purple Kush that I am getting ready to flower..
I will post in this thread about it if ya'd like me to.... Good luck bud... Blessings and harmony..

Purple Diesel from Nor Cal is a cross between A Rez SDv3 male and the purple kush clone that is all over nor cal. It's ok smoke, but there is a lot better out there IMO.

I've got some beans of it, and was told to watch for hermies, at least with these.
Here's what strainreview says about it.
"This Strain is a lovely cross. Purple X West Coast Diesel. As soon as I ripped it, I lost all cognitive ability for 20 seconds or so.. after 5 minutes I was very zoned out and was stuck on autopilot. Those who would benefit the most from this strain are patients with: -Migraines -Attention Disorders -Sleeping Issues -Arthritis"

I'm currently flowering sdv3 x purple urkel. The seeds were made by another grower. So far they are growing nicely. Any ideas on when they will finish? The seedmaker has not grown one out yet.

Here is one 35 days 12/12.

What up folks? The Purple Diesal is great smoke and I do mean great! I just finished a another(single plant) run of it and it was the most asked for gear in my area. It was long and lanky with typical small clusters of rock hard buds along the stalks, but well worth it. Chemy grapey fuel smell early in flower and the high is as described! First toke for me was a little breathe taking. Just a great herb if you are a connesuer of potent and colorful strains. Very low on my yeild but worth it for head stash alone. Got 2 zips from a 2 1/2 ft plant bushed as much as possible. I started with 3 and I had herms from 2 plants and chucked them. Wish I would have pulled the nads and let them keep goin now though. The seeds were gifted to me so I have no concrete info on her exact lineage. I also let all know(who got them) what I was told about the extreme light sensitiveity and herm issues. Hope this helps.

PKxSD?

PKxSD?

I just ran PKxSD from a member here. Just had my first toke and its killer. Grows like SD, but has a sweet cough syrup taste with diesel aftertaste. I'm really likeing it.
I also know that Bodhi Seeds made a sr71 purple kush x sour diesel ibl cross named Purple Diesel. These were a limited cross and I don't think hes been selling them lately.

I also have the p diesel from hbhc, it is a bizzare strain that i am looking forward to dis continue. Mutant growth, heard it a low yielder and boring meds. Been working with chem d cut for years, and hoped p diez was worthy of the name, sadly it is not even close.

I picked up a clone called purple diesel in a dispensary in SF. I didn't have any hermie issues but my setup has no light leaks anyway. It is a beautiful plant with beautiful deep purple crystal covered buds... the picture in this thread is accurate on the color of the pistils and the shade of green but the strain i got has much more purple.... I didn't drop night temps to try and get more color either. I was told this particular clone came from Sonoma and was a cross btwn NYC Diesel and purple urkle (in fact if you use Google images to search for "purple urkle" and "purple diesel" you get that same photo thats posted in this thread)but who knows?? The yield on this strain is dismal. It has small buds and very long inter-nodal distances. I mean weight was half of what it should be. Beautiful buds though, especially the kolas- i would not suggest topping. Anyone know how to increase yield on a strain like that??

Purp. D. is the KIND!!

Purp. D. is the KIND!!

I'm on my third run of Purp. D. and I love it!!!! starts to purp out right @ three weeks into flower and usually finshes out in 45-50 days. A very distinct strain and a very distinct effect. Smell and taste is incredible (If you know what your doing.) Very easy strain to grow organic. 6.2 ph. is the best for nutriant uptake. i'm lucky living where I live in Nor-cal we have a natural water spring that makes all the difference. Keep the Purp. D. growing strong!!

The Purple Diesal was around long before Bhodi seeds released their version. It all depends on what version you are working with in the results you get. The few I grew some time ago were chemical grape jelly but did throw some nanners. Great smoke and super crystally but no weight and very long internodal spacing made it a one hit wonder in the garden of weeden. Much better stuff out their on every leveland im growing it!!!

Gott it - You would be better served making your own from seeds if you could. The Bay area clubs are notorious for mislabels and just bad cuts.
