Hello All!

How is everyone? I hope this finds you well. I am a novice who has been reading around for a few weeks and decided to sign up and post. I have my eye set on doing a aeroponic grow using Pirate's thread as my template. I am not going to go for a perpetual system yet, just need to learn a bit before I start on something like this. I will probably start with badseeds as a newbie should. Shelling out 100$ for a few seeds just doesn't appeal to me . If anyone has any suggestions on threads to read whether they be intro guides or more detailed in nature, please do suggest. I am, like many of us, in college and on a tight budget so I have read a fair amount of DIY threads over a few forums and find the sort of ingenuity displayed in those threads pretty impressive. Anyways, I am currently looking around to decide what I want my second or third grow (hopefully I will feel more comfortable and be more knowledgeable by then) and am looking for suggestions on what I should grow. So any suggestions about what strains I should try would be very much appreciated. As I live in a fairly moist environment, a strain with a high resistance to mold would be beneficial. I would much prefer a strain with heavy buds and higher potency but I guess we all do. Anyways, I guess people will get to know me more as I post in more threads and inevitably ask a host of annoying newbilicious questions that have probably been asked and answered many more times than anyone wants to count.

Just read, read, read the forums.....there are so many good threads out there its hard to tell you where to start......maybe use the "Search" option for any topic you wish....

If you were about to buy all the medicine you are about to grow, it would cost you at least one millyun dollars.....(holds pinky to mouth).....

Believe it or not, there are beans out there that will fit any budget.....

Thanks man, I have enjoyed lurking here periodically for beautiful shots of resinous goodness and more recently for DIY info and general info on aeroponics/hydroponics. Hopefully I will learn enough to grow some trees and from then on its up up an away!

I appreciate it man, I read quite a few posts from you in the Pod Racer threads that I happened upon. Yea I try to read as much as I can, I think I have read all of the TAG threads on here, maybe not grow journals and such but definitely a few of them. Lol long reads. It just seems somewhat daunting when thinking about all of the stuff I need to learn. Oh well, its all reading until I scape some dough together to get setup and such anyways right? Lol at the Austin Powers/Dr. Evil reference. "The wound is starting to smell a little like almonds!" But anyways, thanks for the warm welcome.
