Flora nova in DWC bubble buckets?

I have been using flora nova in DWC bubble buckets to grow silver pearl under a 1000w HPS. I also use the floraliscious plus and kool bloom as well as florakleen to flush.
Previously I mixed all the nutes by whatever I thought would be appropriate for the week of flowering that they were in, then I discovered the feeding schedules on GH's website.
My issue is that I do not know which of these feeding schedules would be best for my situation (my buckets do not recirculate).
I've been using the drain to waste schedule but I've heard about the Lucas schedule (which I haven't found yet) and wondering if that might work better.
Does anyone on here use floranova in bubble buckets?

yeah I don't use it but I think I might switch cuz its alot cheaper then PBP, and the bonticare line.. But alls I hear is great things about the lucas formula... There's mad threADS about it.. Go to organic indoor hydro and it tells you many formulas for PBP and the FN.... ALLS I HEAR IS GREAT THINGS ABOUT LUCAS FORMULA even on other forums.. Oh yeah I don't have an EC pen so every week I change my bucket I'm dumping out nutes which equals money and I don't like throwing away money, so i feel yah on the lucas... Yo its better to top off then dump out, but then again don't let your bucket go to long cuz it needs to be maintained and clean on a weekly basis.. I've herd they should be clean once a week but I think you''ll be good if you stay on top off it an monitor your ph and ppms... SO YOU KNOW WHATS GOING ON.. LIKE I SAID I USE PBP.. does the flovanova need to be stirred a lot????cuz the pbp drops to the bottom leaving all the nutes down there.. I don't have a recirculating system either, so I have to stir mine daily to keep the nutes thru out the whole bucket.... I use PBP grow, PBP bloom(hydro2.5-2.-2.5), liquid karma, and cal-mag.. I'll also use molasses as my organic bud-booster at the end of flower(no need to buy one/budbooster...Molasses does the same)

FNB works really well, just make sure you shake it really well. Get the smaller bottles and shake it as much as possible. If you do not own an EC Pen, just do add backs with water and drain when you have added back about the water you put in. Atleast test pH, it has buffers, so once you set it, it should stay pretty stable. The more nutes the lower the pH, you can use that as a guage on how your plants are eating too. Just make sure you have good airflow and check stones for clogs often. FNB is very thick! Very simple and effective nutes IMHO. BTW about 8ml per gal is the formula, but personally FNB is very concentrated, so if you have a meter mix a gal and check it. Dont go over 1300 ppm or 2.0 on EC in bloom. Some strains are sensative and cannot even go that high. Would recommend a good EC meter, if you have one you can do addbacks with nutes and not have to change your rez. Good luck

I use flora nova in a dwc bubbler. I dont exactly follow their recommendation, ie their top number seems too high in general for some strains, but otherwise their schedule is just fine and should work better then a random schedule. Probably avoid the highest level that the suggest. The Lucas schedule is probably really just the so called lucas formula which is some (forgive me) goofey off label concoction that lucas came up with that let you mix the three part GH nutrients in a different way. People swear by it, but I find it hard to believe it is as good as the flora nova preparation, used roughly by the label. My plants love flora nova run nearly by the label.

i use the flora nova in singled out 5 gal buckets -- non recirc.....as above, check your stones for good bubbling, don't cheap out. i use as per the directions...and haven't had too many issues. my system is:

a 5 gal bucket with 5" netpot can hold about 3.5 gall of liquid. if your plant is a 9 week flower period, i use the bloom for 3....agressive bloom for 3....ripen for 3 and FloraKleen for a quicker flush...harvest !

during any of the 3 week periods, i only top the buckets off with water, back to the original level ( just below bottom of netpot. ) that mixtures then gets tossed, i mix up the next recipe for the next 3 wk period...

shake the grow and bloom bottles very very very well........if temps are not too high, and all the equipment is clean, bubbles are strong and stones are working, there is not much that can go wrong with your nute solution. the plant will love it.......

i don't use the lucas.....have fairly good tap water, and the nutes......and my buds are tastey. if your strain is shorter or longer then my example, adjust accordingly

Have you ever tried the Lucas formula? Theirs a reason why people swear by it; Because it works VERY well. It's far from some "goofey off label concoction".

id say go for Lucas Formula.. over FloraNova especially in DWC as its grit and other contents fall out of suspension with the Air bubbles and at the end you end up with Muck at the bottom and your air stones get Dirty Faster..
FloraNova is eaiser than Lucas but its ucky gritty mess isnt worth it IMPHO.. id go FN in soil or coco over any hydro setup..
just my 2 sents..
or even better get maxibloom dry and ph accordingly and you will have Great results.'

The Lucas ratio is just that, a way to give mary what she needs. I use 8ml floranova bloom, and addback at one third strength. I also use 6ml florolicious bloom, and 5 ml cal mag, and these additives work well to bump the basic Lucas ratio, for me, every grow is different.

Also its good to dilute FloraNova in a cup or bowl of water before pouring it in your res. Avoid pouring that thick liquid directly in yer res it will eventually leave build up on the bottom.....No need to try Lucas (8ml of FloraMicro/gal and 16ml of FloraBloom/gal) if you have FloraNova.:2cents:
400 watt hps
5 gal bubbler buckets

Flora Nova is a 1 part nutrient. The Lucas formula is not for the Nova line of nutes. The Lucas Formula uses 2 of the 3 part GH Flora series--Micro and Bloom, leaving out the Grow.

I also find the concentrations recommended by GH are too hot for most of my strains.

FloraNova Bloom is exactly Lucas formula in one bottle.
Use at 8ml/gal.
Check the nutrient profile calculator or go read the Lucas thread over at cannabis-world.
There are many ways to achieve the ratios.

"For a bloom formula that is the same as the Lucas Formula but uses only 1 bottle, I recommend Flora Nova Bloom." - Lucas
