Foam in my 5gal DWC

I remember a thread stating what it is that will cause foam to accumulate on the surface of the water in a DWC system.. I just can't find it... So anyone with experience with the DWC, can ya help???? I've been using PH adjusters and I think I just gave too much too the one but I'm probably wrong.. I remember someone warning me about it... SO WHY WOULD MY DWC HAVE FOAM IN IT??????I'm using PBP grow, cal-mag, and liquid Karma, in tap water.. I also got GH's ph up^ and Down... THanks for the help... this one just slipped my mind

the only time i've seen foam in my buckets was when i was using subculture's beneficial bacteria and i added liq karma or mollasses which caused the bacteria to release co2.

I think it might of been cuz a light leak..... I just gave the bucket a run thru and there was a light leak going thru the hydroton.... We'll see.... But yeah the bucket that has it... has ph adjusters, PBP grow, liquid karma, and cal-mag.. at a very low dosage... the plant is only a wk old from when I pulled err out of my bubble cloner!!!!! I have another one right next to err that I've done the same to it and it hasn't happened it it yet.......

if you arent sure, Id pull the plant, bleach everything out and start over using the recipe on the label of your nutrients. Thats just my way of dealing with uncertainty, reboot when possible.

physan 20 causes this as well, as long as its not blocking the roots from getting popped on by the bubbles it should be fine
