Hi all, using plagron royalty for the first time and my plants seem to not like it.....
It seems i'm getting alot of stripey red stalks and some drooping on all the plants before lights out, some worse than others. I have them on 18/6 but also seem to have preflowers starting all over. Not feeding anything but water and checked my ph of run off and that comes out at 6.0 so i cant be far wrong, any one have any ideas?? i thought maybe the ferts present in the mix were too strong but the leaves are a healthy green with no burn. some cuttings i have put in small 3" pots with this soil are also showing rusty patches on the leaves and deformed growth. No pics as yet, will borrow a cam 2moro as mine broke but any ideas for now would be blessed, i'm tearing my hair out!!

Royaly mix is very nutrient rich...its designed for lazy bastards ...lol j/k
....so it could hurt your little ones...but that also could depend on strain....a tip...start seeds or clones in a light mix...then after a while transplant in royalty mix.....this way you'll have to almost feed notthing but for the last weeks :2cents:

Thanks for that core, but as they are already in the royalty mix, and by the way i used only the royalty, no extra perlite or anything, should i give them a good flush to dilute the ferts a bit?

you shoudln't worry they WILL be fine , you don't need to dilute it with perlite it is airy enough.

Just next time make sure you start the young ones in a lighter mix.

this is very good flowering soil

The royalty mix is definetly to hot. I had problems with young planst aswell. Plagron now sells the light mix for that reason.

well i totally disagree , it is too hot for young plants , yes , but they won't die and will grow normal after few weeks.

cannabis plants are strong , his grow isn't ruined

I've used royatly mix often on smaller and larger plants. Some plants would show signs of nute burn, but not many. I actually liked it, and used it all the time when i grew on soil. The organic psicodelicia is grown in it in my sig below.

The plants will definatly survive in the soil, and it is good stuff, so don't panic or rip them out. Leave them be, feed nothing but water and relax.

Royalty Mix would perfect for auto flowers, lol..they go from seed to harvest in 8 weeks and they the mix last for that long...now that's what I'm talking about.
