Question about Rooting and Light Cycle for Experts

Hello!

Me is new here and i`ve got a question..^^

Do stickies from a mother which stads under 24/0 root faster when i put it then under 18/6 for this?

I think to mean that the plants whitout a nightphase suck more of Nitrogen. N-reservoir in the leafs is not very conductive 4 rooting.

I noticed a really bad K overfeeding after i putted my plants from my living room to the growroom^^ They died xD

Whatever..

But ste stickies of these plants had rootes very extrem quickli.. Nver again like this..

Now i think i will set the for the mothers 1 or 2 weeks before cutting on 24/0

I think the stickies woul bee rootet much weller etc

What do you say about this?

Its really hard to make up what u r saying m8.
Try you be more specific or better yet rephrase what actually u wanna say or ask in these sentences:
"I noticed a really bad K overfeeding after i putted my plants from my living room to the growroom^^ They died xD"

"Now i think i will set the for the mothers 1 or 2 weeks before cutting on 24/0"

By stickies u mean clones?

if i get what you are saying.....you are asking if there is a diffrence if you keep your mom's on 24/0 or 18/6 to cut clones?
if so i do think there is a small diffrence....plants alway notice timediffrences in the inviroment...and thats always a stressfacor ime....so i always keep my mom's on 24/24 Nway

Yes, i mean clones, witch roots very quicklier than cutted under 18/6

we all give no nutriens before cutting anyway

mey plants in my livingroom had everytime Light. Then i put theminto my growing space and show me within one week a really violently potassium overfeeding. (RIP)

Bud this is a little long time ago fortunately ^^

My clones root well, bud it should go quicklier - i think - with this method.

Any opinions more?

sorry for my bad english.

@Core you keep your mothers 24/0?

everybody here in this countries talks about juicesaving and prices but the plants (hemp btw) need a nightphase to change the shuger ore somwhat so whatever..

So i think everytime 24/0 is for price of 0.20 euro /kwh to much.

The plants with 6h night grow certainly very quicklier and this is good.

But fast rooting cuts are also good..

Ya know what i mean?^^

Mothers 24/0 unter ndl constantly..

yea i do keep'm under 24/0 ...but not under halids...at first i use TL tubes/lamps in veg....
that is enough for maintaining a mom and to keep it from strecthing...also to save money
so those few hours don't hurt as much on the bill....

Nhow i do believe plants notice the diffrence if there cut from a mom who's on 18/6 cycle and the clones are put on 24/0
they'll have to struggle harder coz they will notice the timediffrence.
and vice versa....ime

i keep my mothers under 24light aswell...thave been sitting under x3 15Wcfl for over a year now.cost next to nothing:joint:.... thay grow nice and slow and can spit out 10/15 cuts every 2 weeks:joint: (not to shabby for sitting under 45W of cfls lol)

i think what the guy is asking is ... do your cuts root faster under 18/4 light or 24light..??....
ive been wondering about this aswell...ive had cuts root in 7 days and others 14days...am still not sure if this is down to the clones getting a night shift ,or that the starin is just good for cuts EG. fast rooting clones......am starting to think thay root faster (cuts) with a few hours sleep,,put more energy into rooting , but thats just my:2cents:....

saying that i just root my cuts under 24light now, in same rooms as there mothers as cfls work great on cuts,+ i try not to fix something thats not broke

This is a good discussion. It's always been an argument/discussion with others about what light cycle.

I do my mothers and cuts under 24/0 CFL (also because it is convenient for working in the room without resetting timers always - it's an idiot proof system! lol), veg 18/4, flower 12/12. I've read the arguments against 24/0, but the 24/0 cycle works for me.

I've also noticed that my clones sometimes root within 4 days, and other (such as my current batches) they can take 14 days! Not too much difference in environment - the same nutes, system, strain, temps each time, but I get these differences?

I believe it has something to do with moon cycles.

I've been running this experiment with this strain for a year now...and get a 99% strike rate - but the roots just take longer to get down and established some runs...
