I would have to go with Afghani Kush...it seems like the only strain I don't get tired of--

There are many for me...Mikado...many Kush's...Blueberry by DJ...Trainwreck...White Widow...The Pure (SK#1)...sorry, I know that's not all that helpful. Taste is definitely important for me too, so I'm interested to see what kinds of responses you get.

Pick any DJ Short Strain they all have a great taste but more importantly an even greater high. Most are looooong lasting, feel good, happy, chatty, high tolerance, potent, and purple 60 dayers.

If you can find it, C-99! Tastes like Hawian punch, with a punch! very nice!...... The diesel is tasty! ...... SAGE from THSeeds is tasty and potent.... I grew 3 packs of Blueberry, none of it tasted like BB, it's good pot though. Bubblegum does taste like gum with a purty good buzz. Train wreck has a nice lemon pledge flavor with a very nice buzz. Hashplant tastes like old school blonde hash, nice! very good buzz there! Well, there's a few to think about anyway.... Good luck! BC

It was used as a mum in a strain called "Celtic Cross" which was a F420 x Celtic Stone (Stonehenge (Sag) x Aloha 98 White Widow) It also has AMAZING flavors like her mum but the F420 still wins....

Sorry but I didn't really want this to get into a discussion whether or not taste is important. It is to me, Hence my thread.
It all goes to my lack of knowledge (ignorance) but if 10 people say Jack is their favorite taste that would not surprise me, however it would be news to me, but I know its a bad ass smoke. I guess flavor isn't discussed enough (IMO)

This winter I want to do a very small indoor, and taste is a must for me. I recently quit smoking cigs so I'll be smoking a lot more herb and my "taste buds" seem to be ultra sensitive. So I want something smooth and flavorful. Not dank an harsh
I can tell by the popularity of a strain if the high is good, thats one thing I can count on.
Yield isn't all that important, I'll be doing a perpetual grow, I'll grow what I need...

Well actually Jack Herer is one of my favorite tasting smokes. The sandlewood tasting pheno is amazing I absolutley can't get enough of that taste, and it is really strong too.
Lavender from Soma seeds, I forget what the pheno was, but if you do a search you will find the popular pheno that tastes amazing.
I do agree also w/ what the other person said Lemon G is really good tasting, clone only
To me it tastes more lemony than og kush, but that could just be do to one og kush type I tried.

I love Skunks! So far, my favorites are Good old Skunk #1 and AK-47. My personal strain OR95 has a great old timey Skunk flavor that I love, but I'd like to try some crossings with the SK1 and AK.

I'm with a few others here. I don't mean to derail the thread, but I'm curious if you guys could expand on why taste is so important. First, the taste stays in your mouth for what, 10 seconds max? The high lasts for hours. I'm all about detailed discussion as to the various highs of strain and different grow environments, but I don't understand this taste stuff. Yeah it's kinda neat when we can manipulate a strain to taste fruity or something, but to me it's not that a big deal. All clean, well cured cannabis tastes good, even not-so-hot strains, imo.

I've had some pretty good Blueberry. It gives you a nice little berry taste and gives you a really nice buzz. Trainwreck is another good one. I think it all depends on your personal taste and preference as to what you are looking for in the taste.
I do agree with you, high is more important than taste, but it is possible to have both in my experience. So I guess assume that most here probably agree with you.

It's alot like wine for me. you just dont drink it to get pissed you drink with a meal because you enjoy it. Well cannabis is the same for me sometimes you just want to smoke something light & tasty other times to medicate etc.....
I've grown and smoked dozens and dozens of strains that will jus whack yer ass, and they do all taste good in there own way. BUT, some just wasn't my thing, like Sensi Star, it had a burnt rubber, chemical sorta smell and flavor that gave me a headache! the pot was strong, knock you down type of buzz, but I couldn't stand the flavor. I found a couple others like that too. Yuck! With all the jars to smoke out of, I always hit that pineapple tasting Cinderella 99 first. lol Why not grow and smoke somethin that's lip smacking good?
OH!, that reminds me, there is a grape pheno in Shiva-Skunk that will literally make yer mouth water when you smell it fresh on the plant at the finish. Very nice buzz and grape flavor in the finished product. It's a real lip smacker! lol Anyhoo, jus thought I'd through it out there.... BC
