no reason to not give it a try. maybe do a run wiht this and another soil to compare?

but being in BC don't you have proper grow shops??

I think it's great, as far as a low-maintenance bagged soil goes. I filled a bed out in my garden with it and threw a couple tomatoes in there late June. THose things are off the gazoo right now - frankly I'm shocked at how explosively they grew.

Sea Soil is available all over the place in BC, at least in the lower mainland or on the Island. You can do much better than $9 a bag down there. I've seen "buy 3 get one free" type deals, and bags @ $6.99 each.

Ya but I believe that it's made in bc and the cost to ship heavy soil is dear. Personally I tried it for 4 or 5 runs and it gave me problems. Ph is very low, low 5's if I remember correctly, yet the company says it's neutral. Even when I used a small portion in the base mix the plants went all shrivelly and glossy. Looks like heat damage and N o.d. I stopped using it.
