No doubt, 1 of them has to be tucking a package;) I love mma, though did not enjoy watching the woman at all.. I've seen more exciting chic fights at the bar.. let em pulll hair for christs sakes Lmao.. The only dominant position gina had her in, she stood back, and let her out of..

IMO 3min rounds at the most for the woman. Half their energy/adrenaline is spent on emotions. Looked like both woulda had trouble making it halfway into 2.

onto ufc in a few more weeks... Hope those fights are more exciting and worth the dough..

Gina took a beating. I don't think the fight was stopped early and I think Gina would probably agree. Randy seen it as a legitimate stoppage so I'll be very surprised if Gina makes a fuss about it. It would have been nice to see it go into the next round considering it was only one second away but Gina was getting mauled and the call was legit.

A very impressive American debut for Mousasi who finished with another explosive and fast victory. Mousasi has competed in three different weight classes (heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight) over his last three fights and he'll be returning to Dream to fight in the semi-finals of the heavyweight tournament next against Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou and potentially the winner of Hong Man Choi -vs- Ikuhisa Minowa.

Melendez put on a nice showing in his rematch against Mitsuhiro Ishida too. He showed a big improvement in his takedown defense since their last bout and forced Ishida to stay on the feet for most of the fight before putting him away. The rematch between him and Josh Thomson has been set and cancelled twice already so I hope it actually happens soon.

Anyone else see Wanderlei Silva's new face? He apparently had surgery to remove scar tissue.

^^^ Wow, he looks much different.. Looks like they musta taken about 5lbs of flesh from around his eyes.. Seriously looks like him from the nose down, and that's about it LOL..

Looks so different, that I almost gotta call BS... Looks like it could be his younger brother though LOL..

I saw this yesterday and figured it wouldn't be too long before someone posted it here. I can't say I like it much (I'd much rather see him fighting) but I can understand and appreciate that he needs some time off and he still needs to get paid. The longer he can stay on the show the better because if there's anything good to come from it, I'm hoping that he will get into really good shape and maybe he'll finally be inspired to work on his movement and footwork as a fighter. His simple style of stuffing the takedown and brawling just doesn't cut it today and he needs to do something to mix up his game a bit. I've never watched the show but I understand that the training these guys do is pretty intense so hopefully that will open some new doors for Chuck.

I was just looking at the payouts for everyone on the Strikeforce card from a couple of days ago and it is sickening to see that Mousasi only made $2000 (tied for the least paid with Zak Bucia and Isaiah Hill, two guys who lost on the undercard and don't even have winning records). To put the icing on the cake, Sobral made $75,000.

On every card there's always some really lousy payouts but this has got to be one of the worst instances I've ever seen.

It appears that the Velasquez -vs- Carwin bout is off for UFC 104 so that Carwin can fight Brock at 106. I don't think the contracts have been signed yet but it appears to be a go. Ben Rothwell is the likely replacement for Carwin against Velasquez at 104 but again I don't think it has been finalized yet. Hopefully all of this is true as these would be two amazing fights. I really would have liked to see Velasquez and Carwin fight for the title shot as it would have produced a very legitimate contender but that means Brock would be sitting on the shelf for awhile and I hate to see the titles not being defended regularly.

Hope Shane Carwin's 5x glove meets Lesnar's Watercooler head and KO's that bastard. I hate Brock. If anyone can beat Brock its Shane. He is a monster like Brock. I think the wrestling advantage goes to Lesnar with the striking going to Carwin.
Carwin is 11-0 with all his matches ending in the very first round. Lets hope he is 12-0 after this fight.

Randy by old man strength
Thiago Silva by tko
Rosholt by decision (im sketchy on this one)
Maia by submission
and finally...
K-Sos by pure asswhoopin

Just caught the weigh-ins.

Maia over Marquardt by submission
Nogueira over Couture by submission
Silva over Jardine by knockout

Three really nice fights I can't wait for.

Couture -- decision... Think we're going to see a solid Couture showing.. Beating Nog to the punch throughout the fight, and taking him down late in the rounds for pts..

Jardine -- I think if Jardine makes it through round 1 his leg kicks, and style will eventually take silva away from his game plan.. If he can shake off the takedowns of silva, and keep him on the outside with those kicks I think jardine has a good chance of edging out a victory in this one.. Though so does silva LOL.. This is my fight of the night pick

Maia -- by Submission... Maia's World class jitsu will prove to much for nate... After a 1st round stale mate on the feet, Marquart will naturally clinch and look for a takedown, and that will prove to be his biggest mistake with Maia..

Vera & Ksos is a tough match to call IMO... IF vera's Leg kicks keep the distance, and knees/bows are efffective in the clinches I could see him edging out a victory in this one... On the other hand K-sos has proven to be a beast with solid 1 punch ko power that vera hasn't shown yet. so who the hell knows with this one, but I'm leaning towards vera..

Leban ---- IF leban doesn't spend the fight working off his back being out wrestled, I think he'll eventually catch Rosholt with a few solid punches ground n pound, and will finish the fight..
